PrP:
You are such a doll. Thank you or the beautiful birthday blog post! It has been a very quiet day which was planned. I had a wonderful time celebrating with girlfriends all weekend long at Stinson Beach. It was a blissful memorable weekend. And the celebration will continue…🙏🏼❤️
I just discovered this blog. I remember the someone I met in 1997. I fell in love with him. There were those who said he was an alien. As a B list actress, I wanted to meet anyone who could make that an A. I didn’t expect to fall in love with him. He was wonderful. I asked him to marry me in 1998, he said that he would make me a Star, the A list kind, instead. He did.
I married in 2007 and not I have a wonderful son. I love my husband, but you will always be my true love. If you are reading this, note that I use my name not because I think you have forgotten me but because I love you shamelessly.
DeepSeek’s releases have sent shockwaves through the U.S. stock market, and it isn’t difficult to see why. America has increasingly sought to structure its entire economy around the AI industry, and Wall Street has poured billions into the companies selling this technology. Most recently, the Trump administration announced “Stargate,” a $500 billion effort to create “AI infrastructure” by building data centers across the U.S. The gross amount of power and capital that has flowed into the small coterie of tech companies behind this technology is truly obscene. And yet, somehow, a Chinese company that appears to have a smidgeon of Big Tech’s resources was able to create a comparable product in less time and fly to the top of the mobile downloads charts in a matter of weeks.
DeepSeek isn’t killing the US AI sector (guess we can call it that now). It is correcting it. Thanks to DeepSeek, people now know how overinflated companies like OpenAI, NVDA and the like were. Pumped to the point where a small pinhole would ultimately wreak havoc.
Both sides are misrepresenting what happened.
There’s reason to believe the group was mainly working on better algorithms for fast stock flipping (quant/quantitative trading) and this was entirely a sideproject of that – which makes it even more hilarious because it shows just how fragile information-based industries are, but also how paranoid everyone is while totally not understanding the actual complexities (or lack thereof).
Good. Time to expose the charlatan nature of AI and the tech industry. I hate that it’s China, but losing millions in the money is the only way they learn. AI is a stupid buzz word for running a lot of dead end algorithms. It is creating en economy of corporations looking for ways to replace their own customers. I don’t think they’ve really figured out the math here.
As such, investors have rushed to sell off tech stocks and a lot of people are saying stuff like “RIP ChatGPT” and “DeepSeek could be an extinction-level event for venture capital firms.”
Anything that makes American techbros and oligarchs freak out is good in my book.
China isn’t even supposed to have the NVIDIA processors they used to train the model on, because of the technology embargo.
Cheaper AI that runs on slower GPUs at a fraction of the power only means there will be AI in places it wasn’t economical/possible to put until now. People who sold off their NVIDIA stocks are fools.
Apple’s Next Big iOS Update Will Turn on Apple Intelligence, Whether You Want It or Not. Just one of the problems with that is that Apple I uses way too much of your phones gigs.
Is it considered interference tha E*/` has given humans the technology to create an egg or sperm cell from any cell of the human body. That means a bit of skin could become a sperm that fertilizes an egg with someone’s genetic material.
This will make one of the sexes obsolete on the planet. Neither sex will need the other to create life. It is too late to take back this science from humans. {E} did it to ensure that after a nuclear war, they could still have access to very good meat. All they will need is two donors male or female and just a piece of each donor’s skin to create a new life from in a test tube.
It’s the “Holy Grail” of fertility treatment and would mean that people who can’t otherwise donate genetic material for a child could do so. That would open up fertility treatments to older couples, but also create a world where same-sex couples could mix their genes
“The possibility of using IVGs in to enable ethically and socially complex reproduction such as ‘multiplex parenting’ (IVGs created from more than two parents),” the HFEA presentation said. “This could result in offspring genetically related to four parents, who would technically be the child’s genetic grandparents.”
Gays can not have children without a male or female. It would also be possible for someone to “solo parent,” or make a child by creating both the egg and the sperm from the same donor. Though, as the HFEA noted, the probability of genetic maladies in such a case is high, and doing so probably isn’t ethical.
While your assessment of the human body is correct, there are some facts that you have not considered. Yes the human skeletal system is constantly regenerating! On average, every bone in their body will be completely replaced within a decade. The problem you will encounter should attempt to depend upon this fact as you transport humans is that this regeneration process slows down with age. You will have to ensure that none or your humans are older than 39 or risk their bones becoming thinner over time.
