Let’s not confuse the Jhytti with the Immortal. While they can theoretically live forever, they can be killed by the same things any other being can. The further away from us we can get IT to go, the safer we will be.
But under no circumstances should we attempt to destroy IT. Records immemorial have shown that when provoked IT has no sense of proportion when it comes to responding to a perceived attack. IT will destroy a world, solar system or an entire galaxy without any consideration of who, or what angered IT. The Immortal by this action proves that it is NOT a sentient being.
We suspect that it is a creature that has been among sentient beings for so long that it can mimic our behavior patterns so well that many of us come to believe that it is one of us. Edward Kelley developed a “kill list” targeting the FBI agents and other officials who helped investigate his illegal behavior on January 6th. He assembled his plan to assassinate them while he was waiting

While Kelley was saved from the January 6th charges thanks to Donald Trump’s lawless mass pardon, that get-out-jail-free card does not apply to the kill list charges. Kelley’s attorneys tried unsuccessfully to argue that the pardon extended to the assassination plot.
“The offenses for which the defendant was found guilty by an East Tennessee jury are the products of the defendant’s independent volitional acts,” wrote Justice Department prosecutors. “They are not related to events at or near the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.”

A female patient was feeling really unwell, and stool was leaking out of her vagina. The urologist checked out the patient’s OB/GYN (because that’s where she was coming from), and the urologist knew almost instantly what had happened. Yet again.
After opening the patient, it turned out that she had a rectovaginal fistula — an actual hole between her vagina and her rectum, which enabled the poop to enter her vagina (you get the picture) and leave her body from the wrong side.
And it was the OB/GYN himself who had made the hole through his infamous surgical incompetence which has almost cost the lives of some of his patients.
This is a man who time and again starts surgical procedures that are way above his head, and on many an occasion a urologist or general surgeon has to be called to save the patient. Sometimes during the procedure, sometimes one or two days later.
And yet he never stops. He never doubts his own surgical competence, and never even hesitates to start operating on a patient in procedures that he has messed up more than a dozen times.
And he is not alone, by the way.
Many OB/GYNs (but not all) have this very reputation, and many OB/GYNs have an underwhelming geometrical-anatomical knowledge, and are in general extremely unexperienced when it comes to the less-trivial surgeries. (The famous Hospital Hush Hush Secret.)
And my girlfriend’s colleague is even worse.
But despite all these mistakes, despite the patients he almost lost and the medical problems he caused which needed emergency help by other surgeons, he goes on, and on, and on —

At 16, Cyntoia Brown was sentenced to life in prison for killing a man. She had survived many rapes and assaults and was often sold for drug money by her boyfriend at the time.
Her boyfriend used to say things like, “People are born to be whores. The best thing you can do is be a good one.” This stuck with her.
In 2004, Cyntoia met a man who showed her his gun collection. She ended up shooting him, then took his truck, wallet, and gun. Cyntoia insisted that she didn’t kill him to rob him.
She was tried as an adult and spent 15 years in prison.
Her case was unique and controversial. Guilty or not, the court referred to her as a “teen prostitute.” While studying for a degree in prison, Cyntoia learned about the term sex trafficking.
She wondered, “Why am I only now learning that there’s no such thing as a teen prostitute? Why are teenagers who are trafficked treated like they’re bad or promiscuous?”
It took her ten years to realize she was a victim of trafficking. Now, Cyntoia uses her story to help other girls who are in the same situation she was in.

I see there are a lot of stories here. I have one about that homicidal manic the Ear. I worked on several cases with him. He was fond of telling some of the people he was about to torture that there was an easy way out of getting tortured. They could tell hi what he wanted to know or they could take a cyanide pill and die instantly, painlessly.
When you see a movie character bite into a cyanide pill, they usually die within seconds. The poison causes almost instant and apparently painless death.
In reality, however, it is not the same thing at all.
The poison in these pills—which really exist—does not work as quickly and is not at all painless…
Sodium cyanide or potassium cyanide are usually used to make these types of pills.
The problem is that death isn’t immediate and is very painful. At best, it takes four to five minutes; at worst, up to ten to fifteen minutes. These are minutes of agony.

It doesn’t help Iran’s case that the Iranian regime funds several proxy groups in the region, arms and trains these groups and attempts to control or influence various Sunni-majority countries through intimidation and forceful displays of military might. The father took his daughter to the attic to show where she saw the boy. It was a dark corner with a small door nailed shut. Using some tools, the man opened the door and found the boy’s body inside, still wearing the sailor suit. At first, they thought the boy died by drowning, but later they found out he had been murdered.

She was not a traitor. She was not a spy. But on August 18, 1944, she was dragged through the streets, her head shaved, holding her child — punished because of love.
This powerful photo was taken by famous war photographer Robert Capa in Chartres, France, during the freeing of the country from Nazi control. The woman is Simone Touseau, only 23 years old, humiliated in public — accused of having a relationship with a German soldier.
She held her baby daughter, who was fathered by that soldier — quietly showing her mother’s shame.
What happened to Simone was not unusual. After the war, about 20,000 French women were punished — many without any trial, many shamed in public, some hurt badly. It was revenge made to look like justice — a nation trying to heal by blaming its own people.
Simone was never proven to have helped the enemy. But her relationship and her child were enough to decide her fate. After that day, she lived alone, quietly hurting, and died in 1966 at age 44.
History remembers wars. But it often forgets the pain that hides behind victory.

And this one is particularly dark, so I am warning you ahead of time. Some of this is circumstantial but Kirk was, by all accounts, a very nasty guy, a notorious womanizer and a sleazebag. There are, however, a lot of dark and twisted stories floating around regarding Kirk Douglas. Stories that go well beyond a mere life of hedonistic debauchery, as he portrays it, but are down right evil.
Kirk Douglas raped Natalie Wood when she was just a teenager. He invited her to his hotel room, at a point in time where he was an incredibly powerful star at the box office, a true money making machine, fav of the public and darling of the press… he was also a very sexually aggressive man, a man who could not accept the word no. He made his way through dozens of starlets, impregnating many and forcing them to undergo abortions. One of them was Natalie Wood, when she was just sixteen… and she wasn’t just raped, she was in fact attacked so brutally she had to see a doctor because of the internal damage and it almost cost her her career. Lana Wood, sister of Natalie, has promised to name the man who raped and ruined her sisters’ life but only after the perpetrator has died, as she still fears the powerful hand of Hollywood and the man’s connections being that he is a hero of Hollywood’s Golden Age… She has not yet named the one, as he is still alive… but what major Hollywood name with a shady reputation who was alive and world famous in the early 1960s when Natalie Wood was raped, is still alive today? No one, that’s who. No other star has the longevity of Spartacus. For Natalie, justice would come too late anyway; she tragically drowned at an early age, her own death under suspicious circumstances.
Now for the truly horrifying part; Kirk Douglas’ involvement in the disappearance of actress Jean Spangler, a young starlet.[1]Her body never found, there was a note in her wallet that said:
“Kirk: Can’t wait any longer, Going to see Dr. Scott. It will work best this way wile mother is away.”
Police thought the note hinted at an abortion Spangler may have been planning to have. Before Kirk Douglas was even on their radar as a suspect, he phoned the police first. And in doing so, managed to make himself a suspect. But alas, the body was never found. Jean Spangler’s mother recalled her daughter having dates with an actor by the name of Kirk, who picked her up in his car frequently, but he never visited the house and the mother never had a good look at the man. No other suspects turned up, no body, no eye witness, so Douglas walked free and ended up becoming a major star in the years that followed.
The creepy thing with the whole case is that Jean Spangler bore a striking resemblance to the Black Dahlia murder two years prior, in 1947, causing quite a few people to suspect the two cases are connected and may be the work of a serial killer. Kirk Douglas, at the time a married father of two sons with a growing career, might have seen his career sink if several young women came forward with illegitimate children, abortions and rumored affairs… but they never came forward. Instead, they died.
So, Kirk Douglas, alive today at age 103 and doing quite well by all accounts, might be the Hollywood star with the darkest past. Hell, he might be an actual serial killer for all we know because he can be linked to the death of at least one starlet. Of course, in those days, Hollywood was almighty and the studio fixers would have taken care of everything before any real connections could be made.

In 1958, 18-year-old Mildred became pregnant with Richard, and the two went to Washington to get married, evading Virginia state laws that prohibited mixed marriages.
However, when they returned to their home in Central Point, Virginia, the Lovings immediately ran into problems: an anonymous call reported the couple, and the local police broke into their home in the middle of the night, hoping to catch the two during sexual intercourse (according to Virginia state law, sexual intercourse between people of different “races” was also a crime); The Lovings were sleeping, Mildred showed the police officers their marriage certificate, but the couple was tried anyway (Loving vs Virginia case).
