Would love to see her serve as VP.  With Joe&#8217;s age, you never know .. our first female president could be a woman of color.  \u00a0<strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.orderlyrandomness.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/coment.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3284\" width=\"204\" height=\"76\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s also Juneteenth today.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juneteenth is a holiday celebrating the liberation of those who had been held as slaves <br>in the United States. Originally a Texas state holiday, it is now celebrated annually on the 19th of June throughout the United States, with varying official recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s also known as as Freedom Day , Jubilee Day, Cel-Liberation Day or the Black Fourth of July, that commemorates June 19, 1865. &#8230; Texas was the most remote of the slave states, and the Emancipation Proclamation of January 1, 1863, was not enforced there until after the Civil War had ended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The orange fart said &#8220;&#8230;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/2020\/06\/trump-claims-nobody-had-heard-of-juneteenth-until-he-made-it-very-famous\">Nobody has heard of&#8221; Juneteenth until he made it &#8220;very famous<\/a>.&#8221;  He&#8217;s appalling!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s been some movement to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2020\/06\/19\/879647898\/calls-to-make-juneteenth-a-federal-holiday-gain-momentum\">make Juneteenth a national holiday<\/a>.
