Babies conceived by rape or incest are not granted consideration.  Shame Shame is right!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-ap-news wp-block-embed-ap-news\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"embedly-card\" data-card-controls=\"1\" data-card-align=\"center\" data-card-theme=\"light\"><h4><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/arizona-abortion-ruling-1864-law-b43757f9a53848138c4d13e4315527ce\">Shouts of &#8216;Shame! Shame!&#8217; erupt in Arizona House as fight over abortion ban engulfs lawmakers<\/a><\/h4><p>The fight over a newly revived 1864 Arizona law criminalizing abortion throughout pregnancy unless a woman&#8217;s life is at risk has engulfed the state&#8217;s lawmakers.<\/p><\/blockquote><script async src=\"\/\/cdn.embedly.com\/widgets\/platform.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I would think the law would not stand.  How can they consider it &#8220;a law&#8221; if it were enacted before statehood?  How is that upholdable?  Also, before women had the right to vote.  Isn&#8217;t that a kind of gender discrimination?   Are they trying to test how far back in canon they can go?
