Yesterday, tRump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records related to his lawyer, Michael Cohen, paying porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election. Sentencing is set for July, and he “could” face jail time. But the charges are only considered Class E felonies under New York law, and if convicted, and not overturned, he’ll probably be receive only a fine and probation. Then again, Judge Merchan (who did a very good job directing the jury IMO) has broad discretion to determine tRump’s sentence. We will just have to wait and see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
