A great find. War has NEVER been about helping people. There has ALWAYS been a larger monetary agenda. ALWAYS. Government is not about helping people unless that help expands the power of the government in any way. Government puts its own people into harms way for the self preservation of the systems in place that the government controls. Period. If the government were about helping people we would be seeing a whole different set of programs being augmented rather than deleted from the government by the current administration. Programs that help the veterans as an example.
