We accept all the responsibility of being an equal member of the Council. PrP, never thought of my love as a “pet.” But humans love their pets and many probably don’t think of them as pets either. My life span is 2300 years. My guy will live another 60. So, I guess he is a pet. Like human pets, he doesn’t know that he is just a “pet.” I will certainly be just as distraught as any human would be when one of their beloved pets die.
