I love you, Cheryl Holmes Ellis.
She was a very dear friend; someone I had worked with and had known for 25+ years. She passed this week after being ill for a very long time.
She had such a zest for life, and I don’t mean that lightly. She loved people, movies, and travelling, London, Paris, India, Dubai…., and music.
She was a such a kind person who was always positive in word and deed even though she struggled mightily with her health. She taught me how to be a better human. Last I spoke with her after being hospitalized, she told me she was so tired of being a pin cushion and all the medical appointments. She was done.
I can’t say you’ve left a hole in my heart Cheryl. I can say the opposite. You sure did fill it up while you were living. <3
