I was driving to work this morning in a bubble. The sun was shining, the air was sparkling; I was playing some good tunes. I told myself aloud, take a deep breath, and look around and take it all in. I wanted to burn the image of the moment into my brain. I am grateful for all the good feelings and physical beauty that the natural world has gifted to me while I have been here. Everyday I awake very aware that Today could be the Last Day.

A former aide to Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows told the House January 6 committee that then-President Donald Trump had suggested to Meadows he approved of the “hang Mike Pence” chants from rioters who stormed the US Capitol, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN.
Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio is pushing back on a subpoena issued to him by the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol, contesting the constitutionality of the request and outlining a list of demands the committee must meet in order for him to even consider moving forward.
A four-judge panel in the appellate division of the state’s trial court upheld Manhattan Judge Arthur Engoron’s Feb. 17 ruling enforcing subpoenas for Trump and his two eldest children to give deposition testimony in Attorney General Letitia James’ probe.
