back to the grind

Unfortunately for me, back to the office, too. After 18 month of working at home, it sucks to be back under florescent lights in my broom closet with no windows. (Where’s the plastic plants when you need them?) Oh joy, to have that air intake vent directly above my head with noise that never stops!

Thank you for reading today's post. Have an InterStellar Day! ~PrP

One Response to back to the grind

  1. Minerva says:

Floods of Big Lies—including quite shameless lies about 15 week fetuses having the capacity for pain and consciousness—are just smoke-blowing for the real Republican project: playing to their fascist base, the white evangelicals, for whom “Christianity” long ago ceased to be about walking in the path of Christ, becoming instead a militant cult of white power.

Without the votes of the fanatics, the Republicans—already a minority party, out of step with more than 60% of the American people—would never win another election, even with the Roberts Republican Court’s attacks on voting rights.

With the white evangelicals, plus partisan gerrymandering, massive voter suppression, and corrupt Republican hacks counting the votes, they’ve got a shot at absolute power.

That’s what this is about. Not the Wee Little Unborn: the Republicans couldn’t care less about them.

Meanwhile, wealthy women—-including the wives, daughters, mistresses, girlfriends, office staffers, interns, and one-night stands of noisily “pro-life” Republican politicians—will continue to obtain abortions as needed, quietly, efficiently, hygienically, and with the absolute confidentiality guaranteed by our nation’s tough HIPAA laws. These Republican bans are purely for show, and target only the poor.
