The point most are missing concerning tRump’s actions affecting the Ukraine is the fact that he is doing the bidding of Putin.
Putin wants tRump to legitimize his taking of Ukraine and to get him back into the G8. tRump is working to make it seem that Ukraine is responsible for hacking the 2016 election, not Russia. tRump is holding back military aid from Ukraine to prevent them from defending themselves from Russian aggression so that they will be forced to accept giving up part of their country to Putin.
tRump is forcing Ukraine to sit down with Putin and agree to Putin’s terms.
Yes, if he thought that in the bargain, he could also get something on his political rival, he would do it. But make no mistake his chief intention was to force Ukraine to settle with Putin on the taking of part of Ukraine. Putin has effectively taken Crimea, a large section of Ukraine. Putin intends to keep it.
Soon Ukraine will sit down with Putin and accept his terms. Then Putin will petition the G7 to allow him back in and for them to remove all sanctions.
Barr, Pompeo, Pence, many department heads that have been fired or resigned were in on this plan to exonerate Russia for its interference in the 2016 election.
If the House can protect members of those departments, you will see many more career employees come forward. Pompeo is a practice crook. He is one who primed for the overthrow of the US, if he thought he could get away with it. He is not really behind tRump. Pompeo sees himself as a dictator who could move in behind the idiot tRump and take over a government a few organized racist would support behind a tRump dictatorship.
Don’t fool yourselves by thinking it couldn’t happen in the US. tRump and admitted misogynist, liar, racist and incompetent businessman is POTUS. Once tRump gets those racists to accept that Article II of the Constitution says a POTUS can do whatever he wants, dictatorship is right around the corner.
There are many who see him as a fool that they can get rid of as soon as he accomplishes destroying America as we know it. Actually America is very used to being a country of power by a few white men. That was the state of this country for almost 200 years
Truth be told it was the late sixties that began the country that we see today. Before then, it was a country ruled by privileged white men for white men only. White women were chattel, and the rest of its citizens were second class citizens. It will not take that much to return America to its disgraceful past because white men are 90% behind it. And most of America’s white women are willing to follow lockstep to their own demise.
White anchors like Chris Matthews refuse to acknowledge the fact that it is white men in general who are giving tRump his gall. tRump knows that secretly if not openly most white men want the country to return to the time when they were America’s chief Affirmative Action Beneficiaries. The government acted with it Police Power to make it illegal for anyone to be a part of government if they weren’t white and male.
Interesting that you bring up white women supporting white men “in lockstep,” Robert.
This white woman grew up wanting to have access to the privileges reserved by law for white men. It was a long struggle still unrealized today.
