PrP, I admit that I don’t have “a sense of humor.” Please explain how or where I would get one.
Just a thought on yesterday’s topic. White women were basically content with their position as privileged chattel. It took pioneers like Barbara Jorden, the first woman, black or white to speak at the DNC to galvanize white women.
They partnered with black women to gain a foothold in the white man’s fiefdom.
However, once they achieved success, they dissed their black sisters and today we have the results. Very little gains for women.
I doubt the new non white female pioneers will fare any better because most American white women are still the dumbest humans on the planet. The only set of females with the control of the vot. The to have yet to elect a female head of their country.
They have proven to be treacherous, idiotic, and easily manipulated. Just pathetic.
Anonymous, you were way too harsh. We have been indoctrinated by oppressive white males for a few hundred years at least. It has been and is still going on non stop. We are awake now and some of us are removing the yolk.

Most white males have no idea what truth is. It may sound racist, but 99% of trump supporters are white. There is something very wrong with their brains and I am beginning to think that it may be genetic. They have no connection to the Spirit because they cannot discern the difference between right and wrong, even when it is clear. On this planet one cannot name a single place white males have gone where they have not used their military power to rape, pillage and attempt to exterminate the indigenous people they found there.
America was founded on that trait of the white male. More than 12 million of this country’s indigenous population was murdered by bounties, germ warfare, torture, enslavement, and starvation. Yet, the whiteboy’s history reflects only lies about “Indian Wars” that never occurred. Unless one accepts the act by a military using binoculars to observe when the males of a tribe leave to hunt for food, and then riding into the village of unharmed women and children to rape and murder them as conducting war. When the men returned to their village to find it void of life; children scalped, women with their bodies mutilated, their breast removed to be made into purses, the “paleface devils” left nothing behind but horror, what do you think went through the minds of these people who had welcomed the poor starving whites to their shores?
Whiteboy History of their encounter with America’s indigenous gives us “Thanksgiving.” Truthfully meaning; Thanks for Giving us time to be strong enough to exterminate most of your tribes and incarcerate the few remaining. Now let’s sit down and enjoy “Thanksgiving.”
Robert, when I listen to trump, I hear the same shit I heard in the 60s from white men. This racist, criminal creep has a 95% approval rating. If that doesn’t affirm what you are saying I don’t know what will.
Trump is allowing Poland to send its citizens to the US without the need for visas. He announced it to signal to his white racists here that this is one of the things he is doing to preserve the white majority. It is just sick to see my race be so disgustingly racist. To all of my friends and family —
It’s October 1, which means it is the first day of “Pinktober”, which is a month of hell for most of us who have/had breast cancer.
Let me repeat.
Hell.
This isn’t “our” month or an exciting time to be accosted with the color pink. We’ve all been talking about how to deal with it for months now. I’m so entirely disgusted by awareness campaigns and slogans that consume our lives during this time and am so horrified by just how traumatizing and dismissive they are.
Sure, it’s easy to sign up for a walk, to sponsor someone, to buy a “fun” t-shirt or to sport a pink ribbon… but, do you want to know what most women with breast cancer despise?
All. Of. That. Shit.
Just so we’re clear. A few “awareness” slogans:
“I stare because I care”
“Save second base”
“I’m here for the boobies”
“Save the boobies”
“Think pink”
“Pink power”
“These boobs were made for walking’”
“I am a breast man”
“Save the hooters”
“Don’t let breast cancer steal second base”
“Boobies make me smile”
“Breast in show”
“Big or small, let’s save them all”
“Put your breast foot forward”
And
“If only women paid as much attention to their breasts as men do…”
So. Did you laugh a little? Maybe a little smile? Did you chuckle or think any of this is cute? I know, you’re thinking about boobs right now, so you might be a little distracted. Let me refocus your attention.
Do you know what *wasn’t* mentioned in those slogans, even once?
THE WOMAN. A WOMAN. ANY WOMAN.
Quick feelings update: FUCK YOU.
Did you even realize that last awareness campaign and slogan BLAMES WOMEN FOR THIS DISEASE?
Do you know what is mentioned when that woman/ a woman/ any woman dies from metastatic breast cancer?
That she “lost” a battle.
Quick feelings update #2: FUCK YOU, AGAIN.
No, she didn’t. She did not. She lost her life, her family, the opportunity to see her children grow up or her partner grow old. Or just the opportunity to put her feet on this earth, her toes in the sand, reach her hand out for a hello.
She lost everything, but not a fucking battle. She was never weak.
This is NOT in our hands. We don’t lose because we aren’t strong enough, we die because there is no cure.
Most women would dissect their own body and amputate their own limbs to stay here, on this earth, with their loved ones for one more day. I certainly would AND I certainly will.
PLEASE don’t dismiss, demean, disrespect or sexualize breast cancer this year. Please don’t sit in your ignorance for one more day — breast cancer is not pink, meaningless “awareness” is NOT the answer and a heart emoji on social media does NOTHING but harm. Stop perpetuating the cycle. Please.
If you care, put your money toward the only organization which will utilize it for a cure. If you want all of us with early AND late stage beast cancer diagnoses to have the opportunity to survive, we NEED a cure.

Donations to the proper organizations will help. But once again women miss the point. If you really want a cure for breast cancer then get a clue, vote for a Woman to hold the highest office in the land. That is the place where the proper money and interest can be generated to get the scientific world to find a cure.
Stop sitting on your asses and begging men to take your situation seriously. Men spare no money or effort to find cures for what ails them. Remember AIDS? They found a cure. Impotence problem, they found a cure, and they are still looking for better ones. And every insurance company includes it as necessary.
I don’t feel sorry for you. Goodbye to your dumb asses. Make room for Women who will take their importance seriously. Politics is what’s killing you. Vote in Women who care about what you want and need. Instead your cancer of ignorance elect men, then you post these sob comments, with the hope that the men you have helped elect will feel compassion for you and help you.
Men pay lip service to your breast cancer problems. To them the government’s money can best be spent elsewhere. Namely on things that are important to men.
If you want a cure for breast cancer, or any other cure, or problem specific to Women, then ELECT a woman.
This man sees no need to pay attention to women who cry for help or understanding, who have the power to help themselves.
Women are not the blame for the disease, but they are certainly the blame for not having a cure by now. Do something at the polls, besides posting your pathetic grievances.
I have lost too many loved ones to this disease. When I learned that medical men spent tax donated dollars, set aside for uterus research, using only men, I was enraged. It told me that men, didn’t take women’s medical situations seriously.
What will it take for enough women to see that, another decade of breast cancer deaths?
Bill, I almost didn’t finish your tirade. But fortunately I did. You make a very salient point. POTUS can set aside billions for breast cancer research with the stroke of a pen. She could use her bully pulpit to ignite Congress and the scientific world to take breast cancer seriously.
We as women should make finding a cure for breast cancer as important as finding the next more powerful weapon.
Lois, according to the Institute of Medicine, every cell in our bodies has a sex, which means men and women are different at a cellular level. That also means that diseases, treatments, and chemicals might affect the sexes differently.
White men know this, but as Bill implied, they don’t give a fuck. So ladies, if you want that cure for breast cancer sooner than later, get off your asses and vote. Get out into the arena and find a woman candidate to support. If you can’t find one you can support, then run your damn self.
Bill, I didn’t believe that a government-funded health research study concerning women’s health was done using only men. Damn, you were correct. I also discovered that all government-funded health research was done basically for the benefit of white males until 1993. It was then that the National Institute of Health mandated that women and minorities be included in any government-funded health research. Bill, you are so right. If anyone in this country wants something that doesn’t directly benefit white males, they need to affect it through politics because the white male has rigged the system in his favor.
