In the state of Virginia, Democrats control the House and the Senate for the first time in 40 years.

– AND –

For the first time in its 400 years history, the Virginia House of Delegates will have a female speaker, Eileen Filler-Corn.

– AND –

The woman who flipped off babyfists’ motorcade (and was fired from her job because of it), Juli Briskman, won a seat on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors — ousting a Republican in the process.

Way to go, Virginia!!!
