   Roberts indeed has diminished the Supreme Court with his participation in the McConnell kangaroo court proceedings. He had the moral authority to see that a minimum of procedural justice was present in the trial.

   He could have negotiated his presence in the trial with McConnell in private. Refusing to sit and giving his reasons would have invalidated what McConnell did and any fix he might attempt. This charade belongs with the only justice present and he failed the test. All he did was read questions and make a couple of calls, a traffic judge could have done that. He added his weight to the trial and so if it came up short he is also responsible. No arguing out of that one.

   Warren didn’t just have Roberts read her question to show that the party he belongs to has literally tried to destroy the Constitution. She also had him read it for the history books.
   History will look back at this moment and when they do, they will see further evidence that the Republican party became anti-Constitution and anti-American during the Trump regime.

   This nightmare will end. These dark times will end. You know it, and I know it. Most likely it’s going to end this November, when it does, my bet is most of you who are now supporting this creep are going to pretend you never supported the president. Just like so many Nazis did after Hitler lost in World War II.

   The difference is, the internet will show you are a liar again.
