our Supreme(ly sucky) Court

The court held that the school was required to allow this: that in attempting to maintain separation of church and state – as is required by the first amendment’s establishment clause – they were actually infringing on Coach Kennedy’s free exercise rights. Thus, the court allowed the free exercise clause to effectively moot the establishment clause, denying Americans like Coach Kennedy’s students the freedom from religion that the church-state divide had previously granted them. It should not escape us that in issuing this ruling, and overturning a decades-old test for establishing the efficacy of church-state separation measures, the court relied on a version of the facts that is blatantly, demonstrably false.

The US supreme court is letting prayer back in public schools. This is unsettling | Moira Donegan

The court’s rightwing majority was extremely receptive to a case this week that would weaken the separation of church and state

“Today’s decision is particularly misguided because it elevates the religious rights of a school official, who voluntarily accepted public employment and the limits that public employment entails, over those of his students, who are required to attend school and who this Court has long recognized are particularly vulnerable and deserving of protection,” Sotomayor wrote. “In doing so, the Court sets us further down a perilous path in forcing States to entangle themselves with religion, with all of our rights hanging in the balance.”

Is there even a line anymore between church and state?

SCOTUS also quietly decided to take a step to remove established rights of indigenous people and weaken Tribal Sovereignty

Tribal sovereignty encompasses legal, cultural, political, and historical traditions that are a complex mix of both European and Indigenous approaches to governance. There are three types of sovereign governments in the United States: the federal government, state governments, and tribal governments.

The Supreme Court’s attack on tribal sovereignty, explained – High Country News

Four federal Indian law experts digest the Supreme Court’s ‘shocking’ decision to grant state governments the power to prosecute crimes in Indian Country.

An Issue of Sovereignty

Tribal sovereignty refers to the right of American Indians and Alaska Natives to govern themselves.

As someone else online said, if the US broke their agreement, better give them lan

And, what’s more, SCOTUS also ruled that we have no right to clean air, basically:

Supreme Court limits EPA in curbing power plant emissions

In a blow to the fight against climate change, the Supreme Court has limited how the nation’s main anti-air pollution law can be used to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from power plants.

Our government sucks. If we are “supposed to be” one of the best countries in the world (and I have had this discussion with many of you irl) what does that say for the rest of the world?

Jackson sworn in, becomes 1st Black woman on Supreme Court

Ketanji Brown Jackson has been sworn in to the Supreme Court, shattering a glass ceiling as the first Black woman on the nation’s highest court.

“Mysterious Deaths in South African sound like an Alert News about “New Virus” because almost 500 new Billionaires created by the virus since 2019! So Britain claimed most Variants originated in South Arica but didn’t say who is creating Variants? So again South African mysterious deaths of 21 teenagers? Question is under age teens how does the Night Club granted permission to them?

So is this the gas of death you were talking about Robert? Victims aged 13-17, 12 boys, 9 girls, all black who died while dancing. Two die in the hospital, one on the way.

    Did You Know?

Before the advent of the elevator, the highest floors of buildings were typically occupied by the poorer tenants since it was undesirable to climb so many flights of stairs and rent was cheaper the higher you went in the building; quite a contrast to today where the highest floors command the highest premiums.

  3. Isabela says:

Legislation by the court is okay as long as it is the legislation the right wants.

President Biden conceded Friday that Democrats currently lack the votes to alter the legislative filibuster to pass abortion rights legislation, adding that the party’s goal should be to pick up two seats in the midterm elections to do so.

    • Brett says:

I for one am very happy that the Dems currently lack the votes to help with the abortion problem. Why are the Dems always trying to help those groups that refuse to help them get elected? Elections have consequences. Women vote in republicans and then complain when those republicans fuckem, literally. I say fuck abortion rights if the women don’t care enough to vote for them. The Dems should concentrate on helping those constituents who go to the poles and show their loyalty and support with their vote. If the blacks continue to be lazy and stay at home hoping others will do the voting for them, I say let the cops continue to murder them at will. Elections have consequences.

  6. Jack says:

Hey, Brett. What if the votes aren’t there to elect because of gerrymandering or just not sufficient numbers to change the collective vote of racists white bastards? What then? Are you still ok with allowing racist thugs with badges go whole hog on defenseless niggers?

Fixing humans with viruses especially mosquito borne diseases before they are brought up requires two phases. This is how we feel is best to fix those situations through our Phase 1 operation.

Viruses change human odors to attract mosquitoes. We know this because many predatory aliens have used mosquitoes to spread diseases which only effect offspring of a human/alien unions.

Mosquitoes locate a potential host through different sensory cues, such as your body temperature and the carbon dioxide emitted from your breath. Odors also play a role.
How mosquitoes seek out and feed on their hosts are important factors in how a virus circulates on earth. Mosquitoes spread diseases by acting as carriers of viruses and other pathogens: A mosquito that bites a human infected with a virus can acquire the virus and pass it on to the next human it bites. Viruses are capable of increasing the amount of acetophenone their hosts produce and emit, making them even more attractive to mosquitoes.

Acetophenone, along with being a chemical commonly used as a fragrance in perfumes, is also a metabolic byproduct commonly produced by certain bacteria living on the human skin and in the intestines of humans.

A common type of rod-shaped bacteria present on human skin, Bacillus, is a major acetophenone producer. Viruses are able to change their host’s odor by altering the microbiome of the skin. Virus infected humans have decreased levels of an important microbe-fighting molecule produced by skin cells, called RELMα because the virus suppresses production of this molecule, making the human more vulnerable to infection.
Vitamin A and its related chemical compounds are known to strongly boost production of RELMα. Infected humans treated with a vitamin A derivative are able to restore their RELMα levels back to those of uninfected humans, as well as reduce the amount of Bacillus bacteria on their skin. If we proceed to give those humans selected for removal in the event of nuclear war our manufactured derivative of Vitamin A, they will not be bitten by mosquitoes and thus less likely to be infected.

The phase covering those who get infected from other sources is to be covered in subsequent reports.

    • N^/p says:

We are not “predatory aliens” because we seek to destroy beings on earth that are the offspring of human/alien unions. Those offspring are a species which have the capability to prey upon the human species. The reluctance to assist with our work by aliens who see “life” as precious is illogical. The Aedes aegypti has proven to be an exceptional aid to us. Let this stand as a note that we resent being labeled “predatory.”

  8. T^/*8m says:

So they want to do another human brain shrink like they did about 3,000 years ago, before the nuclear blast. Why? There is no need to fear the development of human technology anymore. They are about to kill themselves. Besides, it would have to be cleared with ˇÓ´ ´Â∏´‰´ÍÍ or Ó´‰ ˝‰ÅÇ´.

I am not sure that She would appreciate this discussion after She has made her selections. They will go as they are.
