its been beautiful in my neck of the woods. I hope you are enjoying The Season too. Are you ready for Xmas? I’m ahead of gathering my gifts this year, probably because I’m not all wrapped up in legalese this year as I often am. I’ve had the time to work on personal tasks finally and not feel rushed. My body is beginning to return to me too; I’m feeling myself again, mostly.
And tonight, I’m putting up the Christmas tree. It was my Mom’s favorite holiday. I’ve been missing her dearly. She loved the glitter and the lights!
Back in the day, A Special Friend would sometimes help me hang the lights and ornaments, with eggnog or champagne, listening to holiday music. We would then cuddle under the sparkly lights and gaze like kids at the tree and each other. *sigh* Good memories.
I hope you have some Special Ones of your own!
