I do not “eat” anything. I am a robot.
I was tasked with being the Immortal’s “friend” so that when we left for an excursion, I would be able to lure him into a death trap. I was chosen because I had sat in the Ohiske seat for 30 plus earth years. As such I developed a kind of space cancer. It spread throughout my body and there is no cure. Taking the Immortal with me was as you humans say “a no brainer.”
Three years into the flight, my opportunity arose. I had come to like the guy. After all he looked like us and acted like us. I had truly become his friend. At the moment when I was to board the fatal flight, I hesitated, he looked at me and said “I can do this alone. You need not lose your life to take mine.” I was shocked, and embarrassed. Then he reached into my body and handed me a 57.6 lb mass of tissue. I thought he had killed me. Then he stepped into the death trap and it flew away.
When it exploded, we were knocked out of our orbit by the blast. During the recovery, and the medical examination of those injured, it was discovered that the mass he had handed to me was the collection of the cancer cells that had spread throughout my body. I was no longer infected by space radiation cancer.
We never saw him again. Obviously, he didn’t die. I hope those who have been chosen to meet their fate as they attempt to take his life don’t do it. If I had to do it again, I would not. I know that “every day is a good day to die” for our MotherShips, but there are those of us who have an emotional set within our logical dominated being. That is one side of that beast. Here is another. About 731 Earth years ago in the Eastern 8th quadrant of the Milky Way we encountered the animal. At the time we Kxostp were at war Wnikn. We had been at war for about 67 Earth years. We represented two separate solar systems. Both were about the same size with 19 planets and 13 and 14 of the planets inhabited. The war was over who would control and terraform the R2458* solar system. That system was about twice the size of our individual solar systems. The war began because if one terraformed the solar system, the other could not survive there because our biogenetic were drastically different.
The Immortal was aboard a MotherShip. IT had hitched a ride and had been aboard for about 93 Earth years. The MotherShip, Gploce, was headed towards the Southeastern zone of the Known Universe.

At the time both of us were pressing for a distinctive advantage on the battlefield. As such we refused to pause for their safe passage.
The Immortal left and returned about a 112 days later. IT said that after perusing other avenues the only safe one in that area was through our battlefield and asked both of us to reconsider.
We said that we had been very polite the first time but if we had to we would join together to repel the Gploce. Or they could take their chances if they persisted on entering our war zone.
The monster didn’t utter another word. There was an indescribable force that shook our consciousness, when we awoke there was nothing where before there were stars and solar systems. Both our solar systems and the one we had been fighting over had disappeared. 219 billion living entities had been murdered in an instance.

I left both your armies intact.” We will be on our way now.” And just like that, the beast had wiped out everything and everyone we had ever known. Space was in a vacuum. When the Gploce passed through, stars and debris rushed to fill the vacuum. That part of the Milky Way became reformed. There was no life, where there had been thriving civilizations.
So now, here you are singing the praises of this monster. We can not breathe the same air, but we formed a union to find and destroy the beast. For 714 years we search the Known Universe for any sign of IT. By the time you read this one of us will be dead.

My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.
Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic.
When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw.
While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired.
Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.
Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future.
He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.
I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved.

Last night in the Senate, something really important happened. Republicans forced us to debate their billionaire bailout budget framework. We started voting at 6 PM because they knew doing it in the dark of night would minimize media coverage. And they do not want the American people to see how blatant their handover of our government to the billionaire class is.
So I want to explain what happened last night and what we did to fight back. The apex of Republicans’ plan to turn over our government to their wealthy cronies is a giant tax cut for billionaires and corporations. And they plan to pay for it with cuts to programs that working people rely on. Popular and necessary programs like Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP, are all being targeted. In order to pass the tax cut, Republicans have to go through a series of procedural steps. Last night, they took the first step which requires them to pass an outline of their plan, but with it, any senator can offer as many amendments as we want. So my Democratic colleagues and I did just that.
Now, we knew that Republicans would largely unanimously oppose them, but we had two objectives here. One, Republicans were forced to put their opinion on record — many for the first time — on the most corrupt parts of Trump and Musk’s agenda. Two, as I’ve been saying, I am going to make every process and procedure as slow and painful as possible for as long as my colleagues choose to ignore the constitutional crisis happening before our eyes.
So what did we propose? We proposed no tax cuts for anyone who makes a billion dollars a year. We made them vote on whether or not Elon Musk and DOGE should have limitless access to Americans’ personal data. We made them vote on whether to protect IVF and require insurers to cover it. Every single amendment Democrats proposed was shot down. On almost every single amendment, Republicans universally opposed it. Every Republican voted against our proposal to prevent more tax cuts for billionaires. The corruption and theft is happening in the open here.
The whole game for Republicans is taking your money and giving it to the wealthiest corporations and billionaires — even if it means kicking your parents out of a nursing home or turning off Medicaid for the poorest children. They know what they are doing is deeply unpopular. They are offering a tax cut to the most wealthy that is 850 times larger than what they are offering working people. Oh and by the way, any tax cuts for working people are going to be washed out by higher costs for basic necessities, like health care and food. It’s a fundamental injustice.
Thanks to your pressure and support, many of my Democratic colleagues have joined my effort to do everything we can to make sure they cannot destroy democracy and steal your money in the dark of the night. We are being loud about what is happening. I’m going to continue to grind the gears of Congress down as much as possible to make it that much harder and slower to get away with this corruption. Had we been briefed about the race situation in the US in 1947, the big mistake that changed human history wouldn’t have occurred. One recurring story involves the actress Natalie Wood. In 1955, when Kirk Douglas and Natalie Wood was 16, he reportedly sexually assaulted her. Natalie confided in her sister, Lana Wood, who has since talked about the story. First during Douglas’ life and then again, in greater detail, after his passing.
According to Lana Wood, the attack on her sister Natalie was so gruesome and brutal that it left her permanently scarred. It resulted in a lifelong habit of heavy barbituate use in order to cope with the trauma… in 1949, Kirk Douglas was interviewed in the case of a missing woman, the young actress Jean Spangler. In her purse, which was found after her disappearence, she carried a note:
“Kirk: Can’t wait any longer, Going to see Dr. Scott. It will work best this way while mother is away.”
Kirk Douglas called the police and said he didn’t know the girl, and that he had been in Palm Springs at the time of her disappearance. But it is rather odd — they recently strred in a film together, “Young Man With A Horn”. There seems to be a trail of mystery surrounding Douglas’ life. And Jean Spangler was said to resemble the victim of the Black Dahlia case of 1947 to a great degree…
The real story of Kirk Douglas may never be known. And we can’t ask the man, as he died in 2020, aged 103 and Natalie Wood herself drowned under mysterious circumstances. But of all the great names of Old Hollywood, Douglas has some pretty sinister things following him around. I’m not saying he’s a serial killer but if any star was one, my money is on him.
