the show must go on

I recognize that an innocent bystander was killed. But that bystander was at a rally for people who support a president that is against gun control. You reap what you sow. White men are violent creatures. The shooter was a registered republican too.

Two-thirds of Americans say political climate makes violence more likely

A majority of Americans believe the current political climate makes violence more likely, according to a new poll conducted shortly after the attempted assassination of former President Trump at a rally Saturday.

Some say that the act all but gives tRump the presidency. I’m not so sure. But I imagine that it might quash the Biden replacement talk.

After the event, there was a lot of chatter about “false flag” potential. “A false flag operation is an act committed with the intent of disguising the actual source of responsibility and pinning blame on another party.”

We saw the image of tRump, ever the showman, pumping his fist in the air after being grazed by the bullet. Pure Hollywood. Like the 2010 Danny Trejo movie called “Machete”:

Michael Booth, a local businessman and spin doctor, explains to Machete that corrupt Texas State Senator John McLaughlin is sending hundreds of illegal immigrants out of the country, which would reduce the number of laborers. In order to stop this, Booth offers Machete $150,000 to kill McLaughlin. Machete accepts the murder contract after Booth threatens to kill him if he does not.

Machete trains a rifle on McLaughlin from a rooftop during a rally, but before he fires he sees one of Booth’s henchmen aiming at him. The henchman shoots Machete in the shoulder, then shoots McLaughlin in the leg. It is revealed that Booth orchestrated the attempted assassination as part of a false flag operation to gain public support for McLaughlin’s secure border campaign. By setting up Machete as the gunman, the conspirators make it appear that an outlaw illegal Mexican immigrant has tried to assassinate the senator, who is known for his tough stance on illegal immigration.

HBs do have very active imaginations and will find connections to anything!

I’d disappoint many of you if I closed today before sharing some bad taste humor on a serious event. Memes memes everywhere!

The Gods are surely enjoying themselves munching popcorn over this crazy twist in American politics during campaign season. What is going to happen next?

Thank you for reading today's post. Have an InterStellar Day! ~PrP
