    Spoiler Alert: The Odessey(2026)

Don’t waste good money going to see this ordinary movie early. Take your time. It is another hyped movie that doesn’t live up to the hype. The hype is just another example of why it is true that white people in general don’t know what is good, bad, or ugly in anything unless someone tells them it is good, bad, or ugly. That is especially true in the arts, entertainment, and music fields.

This movie will probably end up like the “Revenant.” It was an ordinary movie that won because the hype told the whiteboy that it was Sooo Good. Ergo, a lot of much better movies suffered in the awards department.

The Odessey is 2 hours and 53 minutes of basically boredom. Why did white people make such a big deal about a black women being chosen as Helen of Troy? She did get 10 minutes of screen time and had only 8 words of dialogue. Only bat-shit crazy racist white people would even be concerned.

The acting was not bad, but the movie was boring. The action scenes didn’t need an imax presentation, a 35” would do nicely.

    • PrP says:

Well that is a disappointment. I was looking forward to seeing it. Someone close to me loves that story and I was going to suggest we see it together. If it’s that bad he’d probably never forgive me. (Just kidding)

      • Clark says:

I hope my opinion doesn’t keep you from going. It is still a very good movie. The opening box office take was $240 million. The production budget was $250 million and $125 million was spent on marketing. That could fill some seats, but it also means a lot of money will be made by this movie whether or not some want to see it a second time.

Go see it for yourself. Elliot page, the trans who plays Simon does an excellent job. Unlike the black woman, he gets enough screen time to show off his talents.

      • Brittany says:

I hear the far right is trying to tank this movie because they don’t like the non white casts and the non “straight” people in the movie. If they had waited and got a report from someone who actually went to see the movie, they would have heard that none of those they objected to got any significant minutes. They would have not wasted all that time, and money making up shit about the movie, like: – BREAKING: The Odyssey is FAKING ticket sales by buying up theaters/seats (Fraud) to make the movie look like a success (already $400 million in the hole) moviegoers are reporting having to take terrible seats (because full) but when they show up the theaters are mostly empty. – Pure tRump type lies. You can see right through them unless you are a MAGA idiot, redundant, I know.

Matt Damon has never impressed me as a man I could see as a romantic character. To me he just doesn’t look the part. Since the movie featured him in more than 2 hours of the film, I wasn’t that impressed. If you like him as an actor, you will love him in the Odyssey.

Oh, and as for my opinion, Rotten Tomatoes says the movie has a 95% positive score from critics and a 97% score from audiences. I guess that shows what I know.

        • Clark says:

It’s mainly X(twitter) that Musk is using to try to sink the Odyssey. Only MAGA cares a wit about what that sick fuck thinks.

I guess, you and I are part of that 3% of viewers who were not all that pleased with the movie. For me it was the way it was produced. The actors did an excellent job.

So much hype for a country with the land mass, weather and terrain of the US state of Georgia. Greece has a land mass of 50K square miles and Georgia has 59K square miles. And the “great” battle would be like Georgia attacking Rhode Island. White hype at its best.

    • Jeremy says:

I saw it too. This director does a better job telling you how great his movies are than how great they really are. This “whiteboy” (fucked-up slur) was not impressed.

‘ Xfinity, Lying and Deceitful, Horrendous Experience, Big Scam

    Rant
April 16th, I go into an Xfinity store because my gf and I had just purchased a house, and I needed wifi. I told the agent I wanted to 500mbps plan and he said he could lock me in for 5 years at $45 a month, that would also include charges for tax and other fees. There were upfront costs to purchase the modem, but I was assured that as long as I put my bank account on file for auto pay, my bill each month was going to come out to $45 and some change for tax.

Come to the next billing statement I receive is for $60.99. You can see on the statement it says there is a discount to be applied until April of 2031 and no discount being applied, and that discount would’ve been the thing to bring it down to $45.99. I call Xfinity support 3 times and the agents tell me this pricing is impossible, and it was an utter waste of time. Nothing made sense so I called back another time and was transferred to a supervisor, or someone I thought was a supervisor, and he apologized for the inconsistencies, said he was going to issue me a credit that would show on my next billing statement, and to expect the following billing statement to be correct and reflect the accurate rate I was told of $45.

Fast forward to last Friday, I receive a new billing statement. This one says $60.99. I call Xfinity that night and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told one would call me back shortly and that a ticket was created for escalation. Never received a call.

I called Saturday morning. Horrible experience. The lady spent 40 minutes “adjusting” the existing ticket and trying to upsell me on other packages to add onto the account instead of getting me to a supervisor. Total waste of time.

I was told they weren’t opened on Sundays, but 8:19pm, EST. I received a text saying that my escalation was reviewed and couldn’t be approved. No call, no explanation. Nothing. Just a text from a dumb texting service.

Today (Monday), I decided to call in during normal working hours. The first agent I had spoken to acknowledged that the previous ticket was closed, and that she’d create a new one for available supervisors to respond to. I recapped my story many times while I waited over 40 min to get in touch with a supervisor. I finally get transferred over, and the supervisor has very broken english and was not understanding. The apologize over how you’re feeling and when it comes to correcting my billing, she said she wasn’t able to do so because she was receiving an error. She assured me that this was something simple that their billing department could adjust, and she’d make note of everything so I didn’t have to re-explain myself, and that the transfer to billing would absolutely get this resolved for me.

Now I’m an hour and half into a phone call, getting transferred to a 4th person. This 4th agent with billing was even worse. She had no notes about why I was being transferred. I explained my story again and she said she had to wait 24-48 hours before she could make any adjustments because my ticket was open. Moments earlier I had received a text that my ticket was closed and denied, however, she thought it was still open. I asked if I could speak to her manager, and she said she asked them and they said there was no point, as there was nothing they could do. She kept trying to tell me that she was going to open a ticket and we’ll wait for it to be approved over the phone, which never happened. A second ticket that was created also got denied while she was telling me it was still open and pending. After she couldn’t resolve anything or offer any meaningful resolution, she said she was going to transfer me to her supervisor, so I could speak with them.

While I can hear the transfer tone happen, the phone gets picked up, and is nothing but silence for about 5 minutes. I keep talking, in hopes someone is able to hear me, even though I can’t hear them, and worse case scenario, it is being recorded and can be reviewed in case they just hang up on me. After the 5 minutes of silence, I am hung up on.

(While I’m typing this): a supervisor calls me back. They go over the same circle of excuses and pandering as the other 4 agents. Isn’t able to offer any concrete resolution. Says the only way they can get me to the pricing I was promised is to reduce my wifi speed down to 300mbps. Unacceptable.

She offered to adjust this one month’s billing statement, but also mentioned that in the future if I called back with the same concern, my account would get flagged as “asking for credit”.

I spent over 2.5 hours today speaking with 5 different agents to ultimately get hung up on after 2 hours, have no real resolution offered, agent after agent essentially saying that it is ok for their in store agents to verbally lie to customers and that doesn’t matter as long as there is a digital agreement that was authorized. If I call back in about this in future months, my account will “get flagged as asking for credit” and there will be even less assistance. Lol. “Asking for credit” apparently means you’re not allowed to ask them to correct the mistakes that were made, and that they don’t care a single bit if their agents lie about their promotions to get a quick buck.

Their best suggestion to keep my eye out for promotions to come available for the price that I was initially offered.

Absolutely horrendous service. Constant lies. No one able to be accountable. Will be switching my services as soon as possibly can. They have 0 integrity.

Had to rant to somebody, but my friends are mostly Arab Muslims. I live in Michigan a state Biden beat tRump in, but the Arabs gave to tRump over Harris. Now when they come to me to assist one of their family members, friends, or associates being kicked out of the country by tRump, I have to act all sympathetic, and promise to assist them. But secretly, I’m hoping tRump kicks the fucking traitors out of the country. I want to tell them that elections have consequences. You assholes fucked up this country by voting for that racist thief. But you didn’t care about all the terrible shit you knew he had done, all you cared about was own stupid personal concerns. Now you want the rest of us to feel sorry for you. FUCK YOU!!!!!!

But I can’t say that. I have to placate these ignorant narcissists. Now they want me to support their candidate Abdul from Egypt in the primary for a chance to run against a republican for US Senator. The Republicans will eat his fucking lunch. But they don’t care, they just want to see a Muslim name on the ballot.

Muslims can not be trusted to have your back, if another Muslim evokes the name of allah to back him up. That goes double for having one in our government. I want to tell them to fuck Abdul and the fucking allah he rode in on, but here I am ranting on this blog.
My only hope is that tRump will deport enough of them before the next election so that there are not enough of them in Michigan or the rest of the country for that matter to fuck up another election for the Democrats.

    • Harry says:

This little bit from marytrump@substack.com points out the part about them knowing how corrupt tRump was. Yet, they voted for him anyway. Please mr. Trump deport the asholes.

As one commentator recently put it, this is the most corrupt administration in American history. It is so blatant and so obvious that they are not even attempting to hide it anymore. Eric Trump becomes a strategic adviser to defense companies that suddenly begin winning Pentagon contracts. Jared Kushner travels the world after receiving a two billion dollar investment from the Saudi sovereign wealth fund, earning more than one hundred million dollars in management fees while the investment itself produces virtually nothing. Donald Trump Jr. continues opening hotels and business ventures in the very countries where his father is conducting American diplomacy. Donald himself is wealthier than he has ever been. His sons are wealthier than they have ever been. Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump are wealthier than they have ever been. None of that is a coincidence.

It is also worth reminding ourselves that this has nothing to do with competence. None of them possess extraordinary business skills. None of them suddenly became innovators. None of them developed expertise that the rest of the marketplace somehow overlooked. They are becoming richer for one reason and one reason only. Donald is President of the United States.

Eric’s newest venture illustrates the point perfectly. He became Chief Strategy Advisor for Foundation Future Industries, a robotics company that, almost immediately afterward, secured twenty four million dollars in Defense Department contracts to develop humanoid robots for potential battlefield use. We are expected to believe this happened because Eric Trump possesses unique expertise in robotics. The company told CNBC that Eric invested before joining as an adviser. If you believe that, I have a bridge I would be delighted to sell you.

When Eric appeared on Fox Business to celebrate the Pentagon contract, he sounded remarkably enthusiastic about the future of military robotics.

I must agree with you. I am a Christian Arab who has had decades of experience with living among Muslims in America and my country of origin. For the males, their god, Allah, and their family honor comes before everything else.

However, I can not agree with your position on the deportation of Arabs. Many of those deported were not Muslim or pro trump. Some of those who voted for trump did so because of very clever advertising by republicans, and some of them did so because of very poor advertising by the democrats.

I am not voting for Abdul El-Sayed to be the Michigan democratic candidate for the US Senate because I don’t think that he can beat the republican candidate. He will be exposed as too anti Israel.

I don’t like Israel’s war mongering, but I respect their right to defend themselves.

I’ve seen many of your posts, so it means something special when someone like you can find some validity in my post.

I know many Americans who know that Trump is a liar, but for a lot of my fellow Arabs that wasn’t the case. I voted against Trump because I just didn’t trust him. I was not so sure of Harris, but she seemed less dangerous than Trump. I did vote for a Republican candidate. He lost, and now I’m very pleased that he did.

You seem like a person who has formed his opinions through life’s experiences. I look forward to more of your insights.

        • Brittany says:

Glad to see you back. Your insightful comments always impress me.

Your argument holds water if those that voted for tRump didn’t live through his first term. Presidents also don’t run crypto schemes, hang out with pdfs, try to overthrow the government, use the constitution like a baby wipe, but this one does!!!

Voting for one who does comes with consequences. Their’s it seems is to witness their families, friends and associates deported without concern for their legal, civil, or moral rights.

I got no sympathy for you assholes.

Hey, aliens would you say this is a case of your cattle being killed by their cattle?
An Aberdeenshire farmer died after being struck on the head by a metal cattle feeder, an inquiry has found.

Robert McLeod, 43, was injured in a field at Finzean, near Banchory, in Aberdeenshire, in November 2024.

A bale of hay which was being lowered from a tractor operated by his father struck the side of a ring feeder, causing the opposite side to flip up and hit him.

After a fatal accident inquiry, Sheriff Ian Wallace said there had been a lapse of judgement and that the death could have been avoided if greater care had been taken.

  7. K]8 says:

Roughly every 11 years, the Earth Sun’s magnetic field reverses polarity, which means that its north and south poles switch places. Between these cycles, a concentration of magnetic field lines creates sunspots, or dark spots that “freckle” the Sun’s surface. Sunspots are often responsible for intense weather events such as solar flares or coronal mass ejections and act as key indicators of both solar weather and the solar cycle for many aliens and earth scientists.

Like most things in the universe, however, Earth’s Sun’s solar cycles and sunspot activity tend to be more on the irregular side. Yet, in every solar cycle of Earth’s Sun, the most extreme space weather doesn’t gradually fade but instead “switches off” at a distinct point.
Building on these observations, specifically clocked correlations between the number of sunspots at the switch-off point and the peak number of sunspots in the following solar cycle. We have developed a forecasting method that uses this concept to predict the strength of the next solar cycle well in advance, as well as identifying relevant changes to the solar dynamo—the process that generates the Sun’s magnetic field.

Initial tests showed that the model successfully predicted the unusual strength of Solar Cycle Tn~, which many previous forecasts weren’t able to do.

We may not have the assistance of the Immortal we could use to prevent the damage solar flares bring with them, but now we can prepare to deal with those disasters better.

With his latest statement about how the three soldiers felt about the Iran war tRump has once again proven that he is just a microcosm of the “white” race in America. Basically they are conscious when it concerns the feelings of non white Americans. Here, tRump states that the dead soldiers were in agreement with his war on Iran.

Matches how most whites in america are ok with whatever bad, and evil things they have done to the non white Americans and only bothered by the fact that history could make their race look bad. So their concern is to lie about what they did in the “history” books they force their school children to take for gospel.

As long as they control the vote, America will be a shit country with more possibilities than other shit countries.

And then there’s the proposed “End Birthright Citizenship for Territories Act”. The measure amends decades-old statutes of the Immigration and Nationality Act that grant automatic citizenship for babies born in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

It was introduced by Virginia Rep. Morgan Griffith on July 16. The bill as written fails to clearly establish the legal status of other children born on Guam after the cutoff date of Jan. 1, 2027, “creating a dangerous legal vacuum”.

The bigots are trying to end citizenship for those born in the territories. Their outdated and discredited judicial decisions have no place in modern American jurisprudence. The future of all the territories—should be grounded in equality, constitutional fairness, and respect for the loyal Americans who call these islands home.

Voting to send a republican to Congress is as stupid as one can get if that person is not white because if they have the votes, they will end our rights as Americans, one by one.
