A New York Appellate court ruled that starting July 15th, tRUMP and gang are going to have to to sit for depositions related to the investigation of their shady business dealings

The second hearing of the Jan 6 committee is being held today. Trump’s campaign manager was supposed to be on the stand today but will not attend. His wife apparently went into labor today (the word “induced” comes to mind).

I think the Jan. 6 Committee did a pretty good job of laying down a framework that will force legislative review. I sure hope so.

GREAT news! A California state court ruled that motion to dismiss filed by Nestle, Pepsi, Coca-Cola and other big companies in connection with Earth Island Institute’s lawsuit to hold the companies accountable for plastic pollution along the California coast CAN go forward!
I always said that plastics have an id, and the companies that make them should be responsible for cleaning up their polluting garbage!

And, is the US finally ready to address the gun issue? Supposedly a bill has been crafted that just might survive a fillibuster. The bill is a really just a band-aid. It has been very much watered down from how it was originally written in order to get the repugnants on board. I think the Grossly Oppressive Party knows if they don’t show some attention to this issue, its going to backfire on them at the polls. The majority of Americans want gun control.
