I’m trying to keep the humor but it is not easy. Not just because of the current state of world affairs, global human rights abuses, the deportations to countries that incarcerate for life, but on a level closer to home, I worry about The Avenue and the new administration’s scorched earth revenge agenda on censorship. I do have concerns about its ongoing future.

This video supposedly was released in February of this year by El Salvador‘s president, Nayib Bukele. The poster said “this is why they’re willing to take prisoners. They run a 24/7 sweat shop using prison labor. In El Salvador, many of their prisoners are there for life, there is no parole. Will people sit there from the US ever get released? That is doubtful.”
