I myself am a little late to the party – Season 2 just began but I’ve just started Season 1; I’m a little more than half way in. So far, my favorite scene is from episode 1, the one with Yetide Badaki playing the goddess Bilquis. (As the directors stated at end of the episode, she’s every white man’s nightmare.)

Yes, I am now watching American Gods. I like the consistency of the theme. The gods waging war are white with the reluctant assistance of the none white gods. You can see the same reflection in the mortal History of the earth. WWI was White War 1 fought over the control and enslavement of the none white humans on the planet. To include forcing them to accept their concept of Religion.
