I’ve never had a college level economics class and I probably know way more than trump does about the economy!
What anyone can derive from the last three+ years, is that having been handed an economy on cruise control and still growing, his only economic moves have been to damage farming, manufacturing, and consumer costs with a trade war that improved nothing.

He handed the wealthy and corporations a $1.5 trillion welfare package and grease for the stock market.

His ‘improvements’ to gov’t have led to a 26% budget deficit increase; he has the national debt increase on a pace never before seen without a recession fueling it!

The Wall St economy is doing great, the Main St economy is not at all doing any better. It’s actually worse when you take into consideration the fact that Main St is now paying for the tax cuts trump gave to himself and his pals on Wall St!

The one thing the moron should get credit for is the fact that he hasn’t tanked it all, yet!!! Trump and his cabinet are playing the federal gov’t to increase their fortunes like the bankers and lenders played the housing & lending markets under Bush.

They are going to loot and steal until it all crashes and then leave town, more parasites will feed off the crash, and the public will pay for it all again if anything is left standing this time.

Republicans, the ultra-wealthy, Wall St, corporate America, they all know it and are all along for the ride. It’s not about conservative Vs liberal. It’s about money.

The economy is NOT “doing well” when most people don’t have a measly $400 in the bank for an emergency. In 95% of the counties in the U.S., a minimum wage earner cannot afford to rent a one-bedroom apartment, and the average price of a new car is twice his annual salary.
WAKE UP! We are just modern-day serfs of the uber rich and the multi-national corporations.

  4. Linda says:

Trump is riding on former President Obama’s coattails. Let’s not forget Obama came into office inheriting the beginning of what is now referred to as “The Great Recession.” The collapse of Wall Street, banks, the housing crisis and the U.S. Auto industry. All at the same time.

Not only did he manage to get the country through the Great Recession, he created more jobs in his last three years in office than Trump has created in his first 3 years.

    Now that’s “Presidential.”

  5. Henry says:

Try as he might be can’t break the Obama economy. Thanks Obama.

Watch for Trump to insult the head of the Department of Labor, Eugene Scalia (son of the late Antonin Scalia), and then fire him.
