Trump is being run by Russian and American far right Oligarchs. Since his acquittal the United States has fully slid into a neo-fascist autocratic white nationalist government.
Fascism comes in like a ghost but winds itself into the soul of a nation like a cancer, infecting institutions and creating a massive cult of true believers.
The situation we are in is so dire that, should Trump be re-elected, one party far right rule and a further collapse of the free press and the rights of minorities will diminish significantly.
Regardless getting rid of fascism is brutally difficult. We have collapsed at the moment. The United States is a black hole of sorts for the health and safety of all free peoples. Vote blue? Sure. But we are in peril.
David, Trump has beaten the law and used it his whole career like a Mafia Don who expects to die in his own bed at an old age. As long as he has the sharpest lawyers and brazenness he is protected. Don’t count on it.. The justice system needs witnesses and fact to work. Trump is in his best position in his life to stonewall, suppress facts and cower witnesses.
Listening to the GOP Senate, his gang are hanging tough. He’s bought the judges in his case and the prosecutor in Barr. Don’t count on justice in our lifetime as long as Republicans are running things. The fix is in.

When you hear commentators say something like, “a Country more divided that at any time since the not so civil, Civil War,” what they are really saying is – most white americans want to keep their “white privileges,” and the very vocal ones feel emboldened to act upon their belief that they are better than the rest of the non white Americans simply because of the color of their skin.
Of course this implies that the commentators are only talking to white americans since most of the rest of us know that is and always has been the opinion of the majority of white americans.
The other obvious assumption is that those commentators believe that only white americans can solve the problem. America is white country the non-whites just live in it.

It looks like he got to you, George. Otherwise you’d have something else to say. It’s not uncommon how the racist ones are always accusing others of being racist. Time to take your meds.
At least Blankfein is honest, that he would rather burn America down than give up any of his wealth to make America great for all its people. That’s really what the 2020 election is all about — class warfare, the 99% vs 1%. Quite frankly, I love the odds, 99 to 1. It will be difficult to beat King Donald. I get that. Not only is he an incumbent, but millions of people have given up on having a government that works for everyone. Well, guess what. I haven’t. And neither have millions of Bernie supporters.
We are taking down the 1%. Not to the ground. They will be left obscenely rich when the dust settles. But that’s okay… as long as everyone else is doing okay too. It’s utterly unacceptable 40% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and 500K are homeless. We can do much better. And we will. WWJD. Just what I’m talking about, and you know it.
