can i just say, i have a wee crush on Kamala. Would love to see her serve as VP. With Joe’s age, you never know .. our first female president could be a woman of color. ?
It’s also Juneteenth today.
Juneteenth is a holiday celebrating the liberation of those who had been held as slaves
in the United States. Originally a Texas state holiday, it is now celebrated annually on the 19th of June throughout the United States, with varying official recognition.
It’s also known as as Freedom Day , Jubilee Day, Cel-Liberation Day or the Black Fourth of July, that commemorates June 19, 1865. … Texas was the most remote of the slave states, and the Emancipation Proclamation of January 1, 1863, was not enforced there until after the Civil War had ended.
The orange fart said “…Nobody has heard of” Juneteenth until he made it “very famous.” He’s appalling!
There’s been some movement to make Juneteenth a national holiday. I think that’s a fine idea.
