In small town Vincent, Alabama, a police office tweeted a disgusting racist comment, and the city government had to disband the police department to fire him. I’m glad the city didn’t stand by him.

Now some O.M.G. smh news. On SFGate, an article about Sanas, a start-up company that developed software to make you “sound white.” Why can’t HBs move beyond race? Couldn’t they come up with a unique AI generated computer voice?

One would think every adult would feel for a child in pain. How difficult is it to do that?
One would think. But then if a mother doesn’t even feel for her own child that is in pain, she certainly isn’t going to feel something for any that aren’t.

This is about the prior post “space sounds”. I saw this on ABC News.
The sounds left the Twitter universe “shook.”
Users are calling the sounds “100 times more frightening than you could have imagined” and are comparing them to “billions of souls wailing in anguish.”
!!!
This just shows the depravity of the world that some think that what this creep says matters. People who have earned their wealth should not feel the slightest regret about wanting to flaunt that $ucce$$.

“A lot of times, when you think about breakups in relationships, it’s usually over ego. And if you can remove your ego from that, and make it about your loved ones, then that’s what it’s about.”
Not true, most of the time it’s about a man caught cheating.

“This is the first time that I’ve broken my silence”

By Nick Delgado
Domestic abuse at any level is a tough, ongoing battle for many. For one military spouse, it has been years of hurt and it took nearly losing her life before she was able to escape her abuser. That woman sparked interest on social media after being seen holding a sign outside of the Naval Base Guam gate this week.
If a picture is worth a thousand words – a photo being circulated on local social media chatgroups only needs one. That’s how one military spouse, feels after nearly a decade of abuse from the man she once thought she would spend the rest of her life with.
Laura Allen – known locally as Laura Black – was spotted holding a peculiar sign out front the Naval Base Guam on Monday down in Sumay. This after more than a year had passed since she found the courage to report the abuse she suffered early on in her marriage – a marriage that started in 2013 to a man in the U.S. Coast Guard who she initially met online.
“The abuse started shortly after we got married and it went on for many years, and I decided I had to get out of it,” she said, pausing while overcome with emotion.
The memories are still traumatic for her to recount. “This is really hard,” she stated.
Seconds later she regained enough strength to continue, adding, “This is the first time that I’ve broken my silence on Monday when I decided to do the protest.”
“It started with verbal, mental abuse and I was intimidated by knives and guns. He owns well over twenty automatic weapons he would keep behind the door, beside the bed and in the car. He would describe how he could hide a body and just really intimidated me. There was a lot of control. He was able to isolate me from my family and friends. Then we moved to Guam in 2015 and that’s when the real physical abuse started,” she detailed.
The pair were in Guam up to 2018 before moving to Colorado. This is where she began planning her escape. “I was actually now in more danger because he now had all his guns with him,” Black said.
She recently learning through advocates that Coast Guard investigators said her partner retired and was no longer in the military. To her that meant the investigation into her alleged abuse would now fall on deaf ears.
“I really just felt very alone. They asked that I keep my mouth shut and not speak about the investigation because it could interfere with it,” she said. She escaped her alleged abuser in January of last year, returning to Guam.
“When I got here, I just couldn’t process everything that I had been through on my own,” she said.
Her mission comes a year after a CBS News investigation found that roughly 100,000 domestic abuse cases were reported to the military since 2015 – survivors in those cases claiming the military failed to help them. Black said, “What I wanted from this is to put more awareness to it and inspire some change within the military to make spouses feel more supported and just safe…I feel there needs to be a lot of changes within the system to provide safety and support to spouses.”
Since her protest, Black says she has been getting a flood of messages from military spouses on Guam and elsewhere coming forward and sharing their abuse.
When KUAM News asked her what she’d tell herself early on in the abuse, she replied, “Just get out and confide with family and trusted friends and get an escape plan because when you do try to leave or report things to their command, it puts you in a more dangerous situation so you have to have a plan and you need to get out.”
A spokesperson for Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam told KUAM News, “The lady in question is a private citizen married to a retired Coast Guard member who is not in Guam but was stationed here some years ago,” adding, “She was exercising her First Amendment rights peacefully, which we fully support.”
We reached out to authorities in hopes to get comment from the Coast Guard Investigate Services, but they have yet to respond.
Thanks for all the help. LOVE YOU!!!
A fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their parents do for a living. All the typical answers came up – mechanic, business, sales, doctor, engineer… and so forth.
However, little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his parents, he replied, “My father’s an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes to music in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and stay with him all night for money.”
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and took little Justin aside.”Is that really true about your father?”
“No,” the boy said, “He works for the Republican Party and is trying to get Rubio and DeSantis re-elected, but it’s too embarrassing to say that in front of the other kids.”
Beijing:
China has been stunned by the news that the US’s Guam naval base is upgrading its air and missile defense. It fears that under the guise of upgrading these systems, the US may set up several powerful radar stations in areas near Guam. Apart from keeping an eye on China’s naval activities, these radars will also be able to track the movement of the Chinese army on the ground.
Due to this, China has threatened America through the Global Times, which is included in the mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party. The Global Times said in its editorial that China has no intention of fighting a war with the US. It is also less likely that China will launch an undeclared war by stealth attack like Japan. Americans can rest assured on this.
Also said that if America intervenes militarily in Taiwan matter, then China will have no hesitation in going to war. Then Guam will also be in our range and any area can be targeted in the war.
Agencies like the Pentagon, FBI, CIA specialize in fabricating horror stories against China. By doing this they are at the top in asking for more budget for their departments. The US defense budget request for Fiscal Year 2023 calls for $892 million in funding for Guam’s defense.
The Solomon Islands recently denied entry to a U.S. Coast Guard cutter for a scheduled port call, further raising concerns that the Oceania nation is severing U.S. ties in favor of China.
The USCG cutter Oliver Henry, which is homebased in Guam, was scheduled for a routine logistics port call on Guadalcanal, Lt. Kristin Kam, a spokeswoman for the 14th Coast Guard District in Honolulu, said in an email Thursday.
“The Government of the Solomon Islands did not respond to the U.S. Government’s request for diplomatic clearance for the vessel to refuel and provision in Honiara,” Kam said. “Accordingly, CGC Oliver Henry diverted to Papua New Guinea to refuel and provision.”
The Oliver Henry arrived on Tuesday in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, for a port visit, according to a Coast Guard news release that day. The visit followed the cutter’s patrol in “parts of the Coral Sea and the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea Exclusive Economic Zones,” the release said.
The Coast Guard declined to disclose the date the cutter had intended to make the Guadalcanal port call, citing operational security concerns.
“The U.S. Department of State is in contact with the Government of the Solomon Islands and expect all future clearances will be provided to U.S. ships,” Kam said.
SeaWaves magazine tweeted Aug. 24 that the Oliver Henry and the British patrol vessel HMS Spey were denied entry into the Solomons.
The islands were the setting for a major Allied campaign during World War II, beginning when U.S. Marines landed on Guadalcanal in August 1942.
In the decades since the war ended, American focus has drifted from the island nation. The U.S. closed its embassy in Honiara in 1993.
In 2019, Solomon Islands switched its diplomatic recognition from Taiwan to Beijing, following a years-long pressure campaign by China to do so.
In March, a leaked draft security agreement between the two nations seemed to authorize China to port warships and provide police assistance to the Solomons.
Officials of both countries have denied that China will establish a military base there.
Nevertheless, U.S. and Australian officials have reacted with alarm over the prospect of China displacing their longtime leadership roles in the region.
Most recently, Sen. Martha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican, stopped Wednesday in the Solomons and Papua New Guinea en route to Taiwan, where she arrived Thursday.
U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and U.S. Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy traveled to the Solomons earlier this month to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the start of the Battle of Guadalcanal.
Solomon Islands Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare failed to show for the event, even though he was slated to speak, with some local media outlets calling it a “snub.”
Sherman and Sogavare met later that day, where the deputy secretary underscored U.S. concerns about the security pact with China, Reuters reported on Aug. 7.

Dandelions are prolific seed bearers–a single dandelion head can produce anywhere between 54 to 172 seeds, a single plant can produce more than 2,000 seeds, and an acre of grassland dense with dandelions can produce over 240,000,000 seeds per year.

There is no official definition for the building term “skyscraper” and the term is generally used to describe buildings relative to each other–a building that towers over the skyline in St. Louis might be called a skyscraper by the locals, but wouldn’t be considered such by New Yorkers.

Hey, I’m a natural blond, I’m beautiful and so many of you wanna be blonds are just so jealous of all the attention we natural blonds get. Here’s my blond joke.
A blonde and a lawyer are seated next to each other on a flight from LA to NY.
The lawyer asks if she would like to play a fun game?
The blonde, tired, just wants to take a nap, politely declines and rolls over to the window to catch a few winks.
The lawyer persists and explains that the game is easy and a lot of fun.
He explains, “I ask you a question, and if you don’t know the answer, you pay me $5.00, and vice versa.
” Again, she declines and tries to get some sleep.
The lawyer, now agitated, says, “Okay, if you don’t know the answer you pay me $5.00, and if I don’t know the answer, I will pay you $500.00.”
This catches the blonde’s attention and, figuring there will be no end to this torment unless she plays, agrees to the game.
The lawyer asks the first question.
“What’s the distance from the earth to the moon?”
The blonde doesn’t say a word, reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5.00 bill and hands it to the lawyer.
“Okay” says the lawyer, “your turn.”
She asks the lawyer, “What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four legs?”
The lawyer, puzzled, takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references, no answer.
He taps into the air phone with his modem and searches the net and the library of congress, no answer.
Frustrated, he sends e-mails to all his friends and coworkers, to no avail.
After an hour, he wakes the blonde, and hands her $500.00.
The blonde says, “Thank you,” and turns back to get some more sleep.
The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, wakes the blonde and asks, “Well, what’s the answer?”
Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer $5.00, and goes back to sleep.
And you thought blondes were dumb.
Joke:
The head nun tells the two new nuns that they have to paint their room without getting any paint on their clothes.
So the one nun says to the other, “Hey, let’s take all our clothes off, fold them up, and lock the door.”
So they do this, and begin painting their room.
Soon they hear a knock at the door.
They ask, “Who is it?”
“Blind man!”
The nuns look at each other, then one nun says, “He’s blind, he can’t see. What could it hurt.”
They let him in.
The blind man walks in and says,
“Hey, nice t*ts. Where do you want me to hang the blinds?”
A professor of mathematics sent a text to his wife. It Read:
Dear wife, You must realize that you are 54 years old and I have certain needs which you are no longer able to satisfy. I am otherwise happy with you as a wife, and I sincerely hope you will not be hurt or offended to learn that by the time you receive this letter, I will be at the Grand Hotel with my 18-year-old teaching assistant. I’ll be home before midnight. – Your Husband”
When he arrived at the hotel, there was a faxed letter waiting for him that read as follows:
“Dear Husband. You too are 54 years old, and by the time you receive this, I will be at the Breakwater Hotel with the 18-year-old pool boy. Being the brilliant mathematician that you are, you can easily appreciate the fact that 18 goes into 54 a lot more times than 54 goes into 18. Don’t wait up.
Blonde walks into a doctor’s office and says:
“Doctor, what’s the problem with me?
When I touch my arm, ouch! It hurts…
When I touch my leg, ouch! it hurts…
When I touch my head, ouch! It hurts…
When I touch my chest, ouch! it really hurts!”
The Doctor replies: “Your finger is broken.”
A man is in bed with his wife when he hears a knock at their door.
He rolls over and looks at his clock, and it’s 3 AM.
“I’m not getting out of bed at this time”, he thinks, and rolls over.
Then, a louder knock follows.
“Aren’t you going to answer that?” says his wife.
So he drags himself out of bed, and goes downstairs.
He opens the door and there is man standing at the door.
It didn’t take the homeowner long to realize the man was drunk.
“Hi there,” slurs the stranger, “can you give me a push?”
“No, get lost, it’s 3 AM. I was in bed,” says the man and slams the door.
He goes back up to bed and tells his wife what happened and she says, “Dave, that wasn’t very nice of you. Remember that night we broke down in the pouring rain on the way to pick the kids up from the baby-sitter and you had to knock on that man’s house to get us started again? What would have happened if he’d told us to get lost?”
“But the guy was drunk.” says the husband.
“It doesn’t matter.” says the wife.
“He needs our help and it would be the Christian thing to help him.”
So the husband gets out of bed again, gets dressed, and goes downstairs.
He opens the door, and not being able to see the stranger anywhere he shouts, “Hey, do you still want a push?” and he hears a voice cry out “Yeah please.”
So, still being unable to see the stranger he shouts, “Where are you?”
And the stranger replies: “I’m over here, on your swing.”
One day a blond walked into a doctor’s office with burns on both ears.
The doctor asked her what had happened.
She says, “well… when I was ironing my work suit the phone rang and I picked up the iron instead of the phone by mistake.
“Well that explains one ear, but what about the other?”
“The bastard called again.”
An old blind man wanders into an all girl biker bar:
He finds his way to a barstool and orders a shot of Jack Daniels.
After sitting there for a while, he yells to the bartender, “Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?”
The bar immediately falls absolutely silent.
In a very deep, husky voice, the woman next to him says, “Before you tell that joke, Cowboy, I think it is only fair, given that you are blind, that you should know five things:
The bartender is a blonde girl with a baseball bat.
The bouncer is a blonde girl with a ‘Billy-Club’.
I’m a 6-foot-tall, 175-pound blonde woman with a black belt in karate.
The woman sitting next to me is blonde and a professional weight lifter.
The lady to your right is blonde and a professional wrestler.
Now, think about it seriously, Cowboy… Do you still wanna tell that blonde joke?”
The blind cowboy thinks for a second, shakes his head, and mutters,
“No… not if I’m gonna have to explain it five times…”
Although the most famous cowboys of the old west were white men like Roy Rogers and Billy the Kid, one in four of America’s cowboys were African-American.
Many of the slaves in the 17th and 18th centuries were familiar with cattle herding from their homelands of West Africa. This brings historians the question of the name “Cowboy” and whether or not it was made from slave cow herders.
The life of the black cowboy was tougher than most. It was the black cowboy who broke the horses and herded the cattle across the rivers. Though they took on the toughest jobs, it was better to be a black cowboy on the ranch than a slave on the plantation picking cotton.
The life and legacy of black cowboys is still alive through the Federation of Black Cowboys. The organization takes inner city kids off the street and teaches them life on horseback. The fundamental tools they learn at Cedar Lane give them hope for bright futures – something many of them may not have had in their crime-ridden and drug-infested surroundings. Each child learns responsibility before being given the privilege to ride. They must learn to completely care for their stables. The Federation of Black Cowboys ranch is located near Queens, New York, with only a white fence separating them from the busy city streets.
Little to no attention was given to the black cowboys who made their mark in western history by Hollywood. Riders like William “Bill” Pickett, Stagecoach Mary, Nat Love and Bass Reeves were among the most famous.
Documentary filmmakers John Ferguson and Gregg MacDonald have created “The Forgotten Cowboys,” in which they follow the contemporary black cowboys of today, like Jason Griffin, who is a four-time world champion bareback bucking horse rider, while also reflecting on the black riders in the past.
Were the Israelites actually set free or is it a mere fictional story?
Until the Rosetta Stone was deciphered at the beginning of the nineteenth century, historians believed that the Israelites had really spent hundreds of years in Egypt, becoming enslaved until Moses led them on a great Exodus to the land of the Canaanites.
As they began to use the Rosetta Stone to help translate the numerous Egyptian records from the Late Bronze Age, Egyptologists were amazed to find there was no evidence that the Israelites had ever been in Egypt, and no evidence of a great, biblical Exodus of slaves. As the real history of the Israelites as native Canaanites began to unfold, historians were forced to the conclusion that the stories of Joseph and his brothers were myths and that the entire story of the sojourn in Egypt, the biblical Exodus and the conquest of the Canaanite cities was a national foundation myth—a mere fictional story.

Who can truly answer this question?
We women are actually very unhappy creatures. It is very hard to survive as a woman. Why do women have to suffer this much? Isn’t there another path for us? Is there a path at all?
Who can truly answer this question?
Today we say farewell. Who knows until when? Perhaps for the rest of our days. Someday we might remember how much we meant to each other, that we loved each other.
But today we are only acquaintances. And if we should meet again on a street one evening, you will pick up your pace, and I will cross the street as if I hadn’t seen you.
I have fallen deeply in love with you. I not only see the your appearance, I see the beauty of your soul. Allow me to come to you submissive, faithful and on my knees.
Blow jobs are my specialty, actually frozen blow jobs. a blow job with an ice cube. I put a piece of ice in my mouth, then I suck on the head of his cock with my tongue and the ice. I run my lips over his veins and balls, withe the ice cube still in my mouth.
I maneuver the ice cube over his head and nibble on it. Then I jerk him off and rim him, sticking the ice cube up his ass.Rimming is the best because it makes him moan. If his asshole is dirty prepare a bowl of chlorine. Wipe it clean with a towel. If it’s still not clean, bleach it!
If it doesn’t stink anymore, you can put the ice in his hole.Once the ice is in there, they bleat like goats. They roll their eyes and bleat. Works on everyone. Like a vibrator, Job done!
That’s a bit much for me. I specialize in the Fake Fuck. I climb on to of my john and wrap my hand around his cock. But before that I put lubricant all over my hand. Then I moan and act like it’s real. “Yeah, Daddy, that feels so good.” He thinks he is inside of me, fucking me. Poor fool.
I have done that more than I care to admit, I use tricks for a blow job too, I lubricate my neck for his cock to rub. Then I play with his cock on my neck. He thinks it is in my mouth but it is not.
17-year-old Virginia Christian was the first and last female juvenile to be executed in the electric chair in 1912. At a time when Jim Crow legislation and racial purity laws were in effect, Virginia, who was African American, was not granted a fair trial.
Even in this day and age, people of colour are disproportionately sentenced to death and there is an infectious presence of racism in the death penalty with racial disparities plaguing the justice system.
At the age of 13, Virginia dropped out of Hampton Whitter Training School to work as a laundress for Mrs. Ida Virginia Belote, a 51-year-old white woman from Hampton, Virginia. She was one of Hampton’s white aristocracy by way of her father’s prominence as the owner of a large grocery.
Ida was known to frequently beat and berate Virginia and on the 18th of March, 1912, she accused her of stealing a locket and skirt. Virginia staunchly denied these claims before Ida threw a clay pot at Virginia, hitting her on the shoulder. When it fell and shattered, Ida threw the broken pieces at Virginia. The next item Ida attempted to retrieve to use as a weapon was a nearby broom. However, Virginia managed to grab it before her and cracked Ida over the head. Ida started to scream and in an attempt to muffle the screams, Virginia shoved a towel in Ida’s mouth, causing her to suffocate.
She readily confessed to the murder and contended that she didn’t want to kill Ida but was so terrified of her screaming. In fact, she didn’t even realise that Ida was dead.
The following morning, The Newport News Daily described Virginia as: “A full-blooded negress, with kinky hair done up in threads, with dark lustreless eyes and with splotches on the skin of her face. Her color is dark brown and her figure is short, dumpy and squashy. She has had some schooling but her speech does not betray it. Her language is the same as the unlettered members of her race.“
Virginia was not allowed to defend herself or explain her actions during her trial. The constant beatings from Ida were not taken into consideration or the evidence of self-defence. Virginia was found guilty on the 9th of April, 1912, and sentenced to die in the electric chair in the state penitentiary in Richmond.
Her mother wrote a pleading letter to Gov. William Hodges Mann in which she pleaded for her daughter’s life:
“My dear Mr. Governor: Please forgive me for bothering you … I have been paralyzed for more than three years and I could not look after Gennie as I wants to. I know she done an awful wicked thing when she killed Miss Belote and I hear that people at the penitentiary wants to kill her. But I am praying night and day on my knees to God that he will soften your heart. If you only save my child who is so little, God will bless you forever.”
After Mann refused to stop the execution, E. Val Putnam, a newspaper editor for The Chicago Evening World sent a telegram to him expressing his outrage that Virginia’s race, gender, and youth were all irrelevant. “If not the State of Virginia herself in part responsible; this child was left without training or education. The picture of her sitting alone in her cell, helpless and friendless, is an indictment against society for her condition and one that comes home to all of us,” wrote an article in the Daily Press in 1999.
In the months running up to her execution, Mann received hundreds of letters from people expressing their outrage at the execution. The day before she was sent to the electric chair, the headlines in the Evening Star read: “Mann Will not Save Negress.”
The state of Virginia is only second behind Texas in executions and five months after the crime, Virginia was executed. Her execution fell on the day after her 17th birthday. She “spent a comparatively restful night sleeping as though she were at peace with the world” and ate her breakfast of rolls, eggs and coffee before being escorted to the electric chair.
3“The 17-year-old negro murderess was led to her death in the state penitentiary at 7:25 o’clock this morning,” read The News Leader.
A tragic ending to a tragic tale: Following her execution, Virginia’s body was turned over to the state medical school as her parents could not afford to transport the body from Richmond.
How do restaurants and hotels make scrambled eggs better than home made?
For every serving, use two regular eggs PLUS the yolk only from a third egg. I know this to be true in the 1970’s at the Mayflower Hotel, Washington DC and in the 2010’s at the Four Seasons Hotel, Austin Texas. This is the “Hotel Blend” that’s unique in taste and texture to warrant the $20 plate of scrambled eggs. So in conclusion, the yolk only (that’s the yellow part) added to regular eggs results in a superior and unless you know it impossible to duplicate dish. (And you do now so there’s no excuse) As far as the butter and other particulars like the type and temperature of the pan, I yield to you. Happy breakfast!
If you’re being interrogated and you ask for a lawyer, can the cops lie and say something like “you don’t need a lawyer, you’re not being arrested”? If they can ask that, how can I counter that question to know if they’re telling the truth or lying?
I refuse to answer any questions without an attorney present.”
That’s what you say. And you say it repeatedly until they either arrest you, allow you to get an attorney, or leave.
You always have the right to refuse to answer questions posed to you by the police.
You always have the right to have an attorney present during any questioning by the police.
The police only have to read you your rights if you are in a “custodial interrogation”.
If you don’t want to answer the questions posed by the police, other than factual information about yourself — your name, address, etc. — then you simply refuse to do so, and don’t listen to anything they tell you to try to convince you otherwise.
It’s the job of the police to collect evidence to be used against you, or someone else.
They are very skilled at this job, even when they are pointing their tools at the wrong person. If your information is so very important to them, they will wait and get the answers under your conditions.
If they have enough evidence to arrest you, nothing you say will stop that.
If they don’t have enough evidence to arrest you, anything you say could change that.
There is nothing to win by speaking to the police if you’re being questioned about your involvement in a crime.
This answer is not a substitute for professional legal advice.
And for all you tough guys I’m a former combat Marine and have had guns pointed at me many many times. So those of you who think you’re going to get smart a** with a 6-foot plus cop out on a dark road somewhere who’s carrying a nightstick a flashlight and a 45 you’re full of it. You’re not going to tell that cop to ‘pound sand’ or anything else.. your best plan of action is to comply peacefully and work it out later.
You are almost never going to get to speak to an attorney before you are arrested or detained. Nothing about having an attorney will change a particular department’s policy on dealing with suspects, detainees or RP’s.
The side of the road is not the place to debate legal questions and it’s only going to make your situation worse – 100% of the time. The most important thing to keep in mind is, if you’re going to jail, you are going to jail, you are not going to talk your way out of it.
When you get there, lawyer up and speak to no one about anything – especially the police and inmates. If you were wrongfully arrested, detained, searched – whatever, that will come out in court and maybe you can sue. Those suits change department policy, not roadside debates.
When you are asked to identify yourself, just freakin’ do it. If you’re wanted, you’re going to jail. If you aren’t, you’re good. You aren’t going to teach a cop a law lesson in the street.
Which popular historical figures had the most complicated love?
Theodor Seuss Geisel —aka Dr. Seuss—did, unfortunately.
He spent 44 years married to Helen Palmer. She was extremely loyal to him and played a big role in his career, being the one who initially encouraged him to publish his books, giving him feedback on all of his ideas.
She spent the last few years of her life in bad health and, around that time, Theodor began having an affair with another woman. She remained in love with Theodor despite this but committed suicide in 1967.
Her suicide note said:
Dear Ted, What has happened to us? I don’t know. I feel myself in a spiral, going down down down, into a black hole from which there is no escape, no brightness.
And loud in my ears from every side I hear, ‘failure, failure, failure…’ I love you so much … I am too old and enmeshed in everything you do and are, that I cannot conceive of life without you … My going will leave quite a rumor but you can say I was overworked and overwrought. Your reputation with your friends and fans will not be harmed … Sometimes think of the fun we had all thru the years …
After her death, Theodor said, “I didn’t know whether to kill myself, burn the house down, or just go away and get lost.”
However, he still went on to marry his mistress 8 months later.
Dr. Seuess, like many idolized figures, was more complicated than people like to remember. He was also a serious racist.
Hidden trackers can follow you around the Internet and watch much of what you do online, but there are simple tools you can use to help block them. Before I get into how to do that, let’s look at what web trackers are, and how exactly they put your privacy at risk.
What are web trackers?
Simply put, web trackers are pieces of code that let companies spy on your online activity across the web, resulting in detailed data profiles about you. These profiles are based in part on what websites you visit, what you click on, and more.
When you visit a website, it’s very likely that first-party and third-party trackers are lurking in the background, monitoring your behavior. These are the two types of tracking you should be aware of. First-party tracking means tracking from the owner of the site you’re visiting or from any of its service providers that are only allowed to use the data as the owner of the site instructs. This type of tracking is usually expected.
However, you’re often also observable on websites by third-party trackers embedded in website code that can use the data they collect for purposes other than just what the website instructs. These third-party trackers are from companies outside of the organization you are visiting and who are not bound strictly as service providers typically are.
You might be surprised to learn that the vast majority (70%+) of websites include such third-party trackers. Lurking behind the scenes, these third-party trackers collect your data for a variety of reasons, including advertising, analytics, and social media.
Websites usually embed these third-party trackers voluntarily into their website code because they are useful to the website in some way. For example, the biggest third-party tracker is Google Analytics, which tells companies what visitors are doing on their sites. However, the way the agreement with Google usually works is that Google can also use this information for other purposes, like for their own targeted advertising and search results, unrelated to the website you are visiting or its company’s purposes. That’s where the bulk of the trouble lies.
How do third-party trackers put my privacy at risk?
Each bit of third-party tracking code embedded in sites and apps can expose pieces of your personal information to the company behind the associated tracker. Further, if the same tracker is littered across many of the websites and apps you use every day, it’s easy to see how the company behind it can combine the data its tracker collects to create a massive data collection of a lot of your online activity.
That’s how these trackers (and the companies behind them – the biggest being Google and Facebook) can develop extensive profiles on individuals—even individuals who don’t have accounts with the associated companies—that include browsing, location, search, and purchase history. These profiles can be used to target you for anything, including something we’re all too familiar with: following you around the web with creepy advertising.
You’ve probably encountered this yourself, where the advertising you see reflects facts about your life, from events like marriage or a surprise birthday celebration to information like travel plans or medical conditions.
But it’s not just advertising. These same profiles are also often used to decide what content you’re shown, which can put you in a filter bubble. At a societal level, this type of targeting and filter bubble manipulations have contributed to problems like political polarization, ad discrimination, and misinformation online.
How can I prevent getting tracked?
To thwart hidden third-party tracking as described above, you need a tracker blocker. However, unfortunately that isn’t enough by itself because there other ways detailed data profiles can be created about you from your web activity, such as through your search engine and network onlookers (like WiFi snoopers, Internet providers, and other network operators). Addressing one way alone, like just using a web tracker blocker, is like using an umbrella in a hurricane — you’re still gonna get wet!
With one download, DuckDuckGo gives you multi-pronged privacy protection including our private search engine, powerful tracker blocker, network protection via enhanced encryption coverage (that helps protect you from network snooping), and more — all in one. It’s the easy button for privacy. You get the same Internet with more privacy (and faster with all that tracking code removed!).
A couple other things to watch out for.
Google, the world’s most popular search engine, also happens to own the biggest tracker network that is used to power advertising across millions of websites and apps. As explained above, a web tracker blocker on its own won’t stop Google from collecting and adding your Google search activity to their data profile on you. That’s why protecting your searches by using DuckDuckGo Search is just as important as using our tracker blocking on other sites.
Another thing to watch out for is ineffective tracker protection. Major desktop browsers are stepping up their privacy promises but still lack effective tracking protection without fiddling with a lot of settings.
These browsers typically reduce tracking by restricting trackers (e.g., third-party cookies) after they’ve already loaded on a site you’re visiting. But that’s too late as a lot of significant personal information can be leaked just by loading them.
Better solutions (like our tracker blocker) prevent trackers from ever loading at all, which also has the added benefits of reducing WiFi and mobile data consumption and can make webpages load about twice-as-fast.
A private Internet is a better Internet, and a better Internet is better for all of us.
DuckDuckGo is building a privacy layer for the Internet, not just because that’s what people deserve, but because it can help solve one of the biggest challenges we face today — healing the Internet and transforming it into a more positive force in our society.
Which historical figure is overrated?
I know one for sure, Christopher Columbus.
He’s not just overrated. He’s an asshole.
Everyone knows him because he had the genius idea of traveling west to find India and instead stumbled across America. An incredible, inspiring man who discovered our great nation. We have a national holiday dedicated to him. In elementary school, we learned about him every year, how he was a great hero and all that nonsense.
One other thing you can take to the bank is if what you are told in a history book has been written by a whiteboy, It’s all wrong, basically lies designed to promote the white race.
We shouldn’t be celebrating this man. He was a racist, sexist, maniacal psychopath who initiated the Native American Genocide. His crimes against the Native American people are unspeakable and incredibly egregious. We should have a national holiday every May 20th to celebrate his death.
Here’s a short list of his crimes.
While I was in the boat, I captured a very beautiful woman, whom the Lord Admiral gave to me. When I had taken her to my cabin she was naked — as was their custom. I was filled with a desire to take my pleasure with her and attempted to satisfy my desire. She was unwilling, and so treated me with her nails that I wished I had never begun. I then took a piece of rope and whipped her soundly, and she let forth such incredible screams that you would not have believed your ears. Eventually we came to such terms, I assure you, that you would have thought she had been brought up in a school for whores.
—Michele de Cuneo
He kidnapped a Native American and let his crew rape her.
When he landed in Hispaniola he pretty much just declared himself the ruler of the island and enslaved all the natives living there. He killed them for fun and treated them like animals. He mass-enslaved them and shipped them back to Spain to please the queen.
He forced them to work hard under terrible conditions. If they resisted, he would kill or torture them. Once he even cut off a man’s ears. He also shipped thousands of natives back to Spain as slaves, and he sold little girls— yes, he sold little girls into slavery. I’ll let you imagine the details.
There are plenty of dealers who go about looking for girls; those from nine to ten are now in demand, and for all ages a good price must be paid.
What a great guy. Schools just love to leave those parts out of the history books, don’t they? That’s the whiteboy way. They lie to cover their evil.
Not only did he sell little girls into slavery and rape women, he also was a greedy pig. He forced every native to collect a set amount of gold over a period of time. If they failed, they would lose their hands. If they ran, he hunted them down. It just gets worse and worse. There wasn’t even any gold around, so he likely relieved countless innocents of their hands.
I haven’t even mentioned the genocide that he caused. When the local natives tried to fight back against his tyranny, the Spaniards slaughtered them. They even committed mass suicide and killed their own infants to save them from Columbus’ men. He also started the Age of Exploration which brought disease to the New World. More genocide.
And do you know what’s the irony in all of this?
Columbus never discovered America. The buffoon found the Bahamas. And then Hispaniola. And he thought he found India, of all places. That’s why I, a second-generation Indian immigrant, have to explain to educated adults that I am not a Native.
We think he discovered America. He thought he discovered India. He actually discovered the Bahamas.
What a guy. What a guy. Hundreds of thousands of innocent, peaceful people died because of one man’s atrocities. We celebrate this man with a federal holiday. It’s absolutely disgusting. It’s like commemorating Hitler with statues and national celebration.
It’s a shame that he died of heart failure. I would love to see a painting of him burning on a stake. He would certainly deserve it.
Signing off,

I would like to add Princess Diana
The biggest achievement of this spoiled brat is charity. She was born into wealth, followed her nature as a gold digger and married into even more. Only a few people dared to criticize her or her cult.
Christopher Hitchens was one of those people who spoke openly against her. Something humorous (and harsh) he said about her:
“She was in Angola on her landmine campaign, and there was a hushed, reverent BBC commentator. And he said, ‘The thing about mine fields is that they’re very easy to lay, but they’re very difficult and dangerous, and even expensive to get rid of’ – the perfect description of Prince Charles’s first wife.”
I have to agree with you on that sick shit Columbus, but I would also like to add Alexander the Great.
This guy is seriously overrated. He is just a hero in middle-school history books, but in reality he mostly won by employing back-stabbing and dirty war techniques. Best example is his aspiration to conquer India
1.) Alexander’s aspiration of conquering India, shattered even before entering India. He first faced resistance in the Kunar, Swat, Buner and Peshawar valleys where the Aspasioi and Assakenoi resisted him.
Despite Assakenoi’s army being too small compared to Alexander’s, he didn’t surrender to Alexander and infact caused a huge loss to his army. Alexander in a fear of losing called for truce. After Assakenoi made a truce, Assakenoi and his whole kingdom celebrated the victory with drink and party.
Using the opportunity Alexander marched in to the city and massacred everyone, while they were intoxicated.
2.) The next challenge was King Porus of Paurava. Porus 200 war elephants created a huge havoc to Alexander’s force. The sound created by war elephants was terrible enough to tremble the war horses and it shattered them. It was a nightmarish scenario for the Alexander.
Porus’s brother Amar killed Alexander’s favorite horse Bucephalus, forcing Alexander to dismount. Porus even went on to charge against Alexander and called him for duel. At one point, Alexander fell down from his horse and was at the mercy of Porus. Porus dithered for a second and Alexander’s bodyguards rushed in to save their king.
Finally again Alexander followed the dirty technique of forming truce with Poru’s rival Indian king Ambhi and it is Ambhi who managed to defeat Prous, not Alexander as History books quote.
(And still many idiotic History books say, Alexander captured Porus and released him by his generosity. I WAS LIKE ‘What the hell? He was almost entirely destroyed by Porus)
3.) Finally this man, just fell in love with his own fantastical legacy and never cared about his soldiers. By the time, Alexander must have known how hard it is to fight against Indian kings, because of India’s landscape. Like Genghis khan, Alexander should have left India at that time.
After Porus: In a campaign at Sangala in Punjab, the Indian attack was so ferocious that it completely destroyed the Greek cavalry and forced Alexander to attack on foot. Many of his soldiers died and it was one of the greatest defeats, he ever tasted.
TLDR: Sadly, unlike Genghis khan, Alexander is just a coward, Who had no war ethics and he even refused to acknowledge his weaknesses and limitations, and he paid a huge price for his foolishness.

Here’s a surely controversial, but relevant call: Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
Firstly, she took money that was stolen from poor people. Among her financiers were the Duvallier family of dictators that pillaged the Haitian people and surprisingly many other criminals who wanted to buy some sort of indulgence or appraisal from a de facto saint*. She then used most of that money on her personal brand and her christian movement of monasteries with only a fraction going to the actual work with the poor**.
The Calcutta “home for the dying” she is known for in the west was no hospital as many believed it to be, it did not offer any real medical care, or even allow the dying to have visitors. This despite the fact that MT easily had enough money to offer such care and facilities.
Instead the home for the dying was some sort of sick religious setup where ill people came to suffer and be prayed for, because Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu (as MT’s real name was) thought there is something noble and Christian about suffering just like Jesus did. The below quote shows how little she thought the situation of the poor could or should be improved:
“I think it is very beautiful for the poor to accept their lot, to share it with the passion of Christ. I think the world is being much helped by the suffering of the poor people.”
She is also claimed to have been “above politics”, but still she took many reprehensible political positions by lauding several undemocratic dictators such as her pal Bébé-Doc Duvallier in Haiti and Enver Hoxha in her native Albania.
She also on numerous occasions poured vitriol over women’s rights initiatives that were not in line with her catholic beliefs. A recurring theme in her speeches was equating condoms with evilness or even murder, surely not helpful for fighting exploding HIV among the poor.
In her Nobel prize acceptance speech she said abortions under any circumstances were the worst form of war threatening humanity. I accept that there are many ways you can feel about abortions, but you have to see things very differently from me in order not to find *any* greater wrong in this world than a woman who risks death if she gives birth having an abortion.
The fact that she is still held as the portrait of good in the west, and even has given rise to an English language eponym of sorts (eg. “that person is a real mother Teresa”), is simply beyond my understanding.
This below documentary is made by the late and great Christopher Hitchens in -94, and since even more terrible details have surfaced. A longer study of Mother Teresa can be found in Hitchens’ book “The Missionary Position” or in Aroup Chatterjee’s “The Final Verdict”. Both authors had first hand experience with MT and presented their claims while MT was still alive and could have refuted any false claims.
* Other main donators included Charles Keating, who had stolen american pensions and Robert Maxwell who had stolen British pensions. Keating ended up in jail for his embezzlements (Mother Teresa actually asked the judge to pardon him), while Maxwell’s crimes surfaced after he died (unknown if suicide).
** Mother Teresa’s charity is the only charity in India that is allowed to hide its accounts from public insight, however, in 1991 German magazine Stern revealed only 7% were used on the “charitable work” itself.

Dalai
If, I may, I would like to add the Dalai Lama to this list.
It doesn’t matter which one of them holds the title at the moment. All of them. Every. Single. One.
Tibet before China was not, I repeat, NOT a paradise as the west dreamed it out to be. It was a feudal society based on serfdom. People couldn’t own land, and the only difference from slavery are basic rights and some possessions. Position of serf was inherited. Your parent tilled the fields, so will you.
They were aristocrats, kings, who controlled most of the country’s resources while the vast majority of people lived under the poverty line and were subject to torture for fun. Judicial mutilation it is called… Lovely name, ain’t it.
Dalai Lama is a position of absolute power that is not inherited through bloodlines, but a religious ritual. More like Christian Popes of the old, than anything else. Ruling through iron fist and religion.
Tashi Tsering, now an English professor at Lhasa University is representative of Tibetans that do not see China’s occupation as worse tyranny. He was taken from his family near Drepung at 13 and forced into the Dalai Lama’s personal dance troupe. Beaten by his teachers, Tsering put up with rape by a well-connected monk in exchange for protection.
In his autobiography, The Struggle for Modern Tibet, Tsering writes that China brought long-awaited hope when it laid claim to Tibet in 1950.
And this benevolent ruler flies around the world on his private jet, crying his little heart out about his hardship and hopes that he will one day return to Tibet. And then idiots all around the world fly flags of Tibet on that one special day.
The only difference between what China did, and what USA does every single day since the end of World War 2 is that it wasn’t USA who did it.
I would say Muhammad (to name just one). Here are three shocking facts which many Muslims do not know. Nor Christians for that matter.
#1. Islam is not an authentic religion, and nor is the Quran an authentic book. In fact, Islam = Christianity = Judaism.
It is well understood that Muhammad (who was a true historical figure, contrary to his predecessor Jesus, where the existence is contested), was heavily inspired by Christianity and Judaism (and some other local religions).
Muhammad did not start a new religion: it is the exact same religion that was already revealed to the Christians and the Jews. This is stated in the Quran, by the way !
So it would be fair and just to say that Islam/Quran is an “Arabic cover” of the aforementioned religions.
The exact same thing can be said about Christianity and Judaism, by the way: they are not authentic, and merely re-written (updated) versions of much older religions.
#2. Islam is not a monotheist religion.
Not really. You see, in its scripture, potent beings such as angels and demons frequent the stories. In much older versions (and in the texts on which the Quran is based, such as the older Christian books), those beings were not called as such at all: they were called … “gods.”
In fact, the message was that of all these gods, one was considered to be the most important (by the writers of the books), and that was the one to be worshiped.
And you know who that was …
[If you consider the fact that Christianity—Judaism—Islam have many deities, they are suddenly endowed with an Indian flavor, don’t you think ? They are often pictured with the god Kali, one of the most important Indian gods, by the way.]
[We are not so different after all.]
#3. Allah is not the omnipotent creator of the universe.
He cannot be. In the many books which define his faith, there are beings which have always existed. That means that they were not created in any way, so also not created by Allah.
So Allah could not have created the universe.
Nor can the Christian upper god, by the way.
[Nope.]
That is all.
We are asking for equal representation on the counsel for lift-up determination. There are some vegetation that we would like saved. We represent planets in witch beings closer related to earth’s vegetation exists.

The US’s awareness of the potential deal with China by certain aliens if they reach the Moon has caused the US to speed up their mission to the Moon. They will reach it much sooner than China. If they do it must according to the Directive scuttle the deal with China.
What Is VoIP? Voice Over IP Calling Explained
GAURAV SHUKLA
VoIP technology promises cheaper and more versatile calls than traditional phone solutions. But how does it work, and can you call anyone over VoIP? Here is all you need to know about Voice over IP calling.
Calling Over the Internet
VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol, is a technology that allows you to make calls over the internet instead of traditional phone lines or cellular connections. Although its name suggests that it only enables voice calls, modern VoIP services are far more capable and can offer video calls, file transfer, group calls, and much more. It’s also referred to as IP telephony or internet telephony.
VoIP calls can be made using computers, smartphones, tablets, special VoIP phones, traditional phones connected to an adapter, and other internet-connected devices.
Some of the most popular implementations of VoIP technology are found in consumer-grade applications like FaceTime, Google Voice, Skype, and WhatsApp. However, it’s also used by businesses for their communication needs.
How Does VoIP Work?
In VoIP calling, your analog voice signal is converted into a digital signal and transmitted over the internet using data packets. It first reaches your VoIP service provider, who then routes it to the receiver, where it’s converted back to a voice signal.
The receiver can be anyone: a user of the same VoIP service, a mobile phone, or someone with a landline, as long as the VoIP supports calling them. Depending on the service, they may not be required on the same service as you or have a VoIP phone.
What Do You Need for VoIP Calling?
There are three main requirements for making a VoIP call: an internet connection, a VoIP service, and the necessary hardware.
For most people, VoIP calling typically means opening up a VoIP app on their internet-connected smartphone and calling a contact. It’s called software-based VoIP and is available via dozens of apps on all popular platforms, including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. Some of the most popular VoIP apps for non-business users are Facebook Messenger, FaceTime, Google Duo, Signal, Telegram, and WhatsApp Messenger.
Hardware-based VoIP services require a special VoIP phone or analog telephone adapters (ATA) connected to a regular landline phone. Both connect to your router to access the internet and provide the calling functionality. In the case of hardware-based VoIP services, you are typically allotted a virtual phone number, or you can port an existing number.
Who Can You Call Over VoIP?
Depending on your VoIP service, you can either call other people on the same service or anyone with a phone number. The charges for VoIP calls also differ based on which service you are using and whether you are calling a person on the same service, a local number, a long-distance number, a mobile number, or an international number. Most consumer-grade VoIP services available via an app on your phone or computer are free but only allow you to call other members of the same service.
