I had great time with the Immortal we use to do lots of stuff with his power maybe I’m not suppose to say it here.
I can identify with you. I like others pretended to be his friend in order to use his powers to my advantage. I know now that he is like any true wild apex creature. He doesn’t have feelings for anything or anyone, he exists to entertain himself, to starve off boredom, if you will. It seems that he trusts easily, even though he has probably always been used by those he considered his friend.
We mortals only care about our needs. We see his power as a means to satisfy those needs. If he refuses to act how we think we would act if we had his power, we hate him. We forget that a true wild apex creature doesn’t have emotions like we have and we eventually push him out of our lives. Most of us are intelligent enough to regret it, but some of us treat it as we would a divorce and move on. If I could be his “friend” again, I would be more understanding about my expectations.
I thought the same thing. But reading this stuff changed my mind. The Immortal did things you knew no ordinary person could do all the time, but sometime he would go big with the stuff he could do.
He loved turning water into expensive champagne. He’d laugh and say “this time I make the fine wine.” He loved making vintage Crystal. Krug, Juglar, and Rose Dom Perignon were made on a regular basis, too. He’d say turn on your faucet and taste the miracle.

On your 6,000 year, if you are still where you are I will out live you 10 years later.” I remember every word as I have posted it here.
Several solar systems, and more than 3,300 years later, I can see why he doesn’t take us mortals seriously. We always want something from him, and we expect him to give it to us because it would be so easy for him to do it. I will ask him to not extend my life when we next meet because I don’t see any change in my mortal acquaintances. It does not matter the planet, solar system, or part of the galaxy I have lived, mortals are basically the same.
