NGC 628 or Messier 74

In a brand-new image created by Judy Schmidt using information from the James Webb Space Telescope’s mid-infrared instrument, the fittingly called “Phantom Galaxy” glows hauntingly over a million miles from our planet

The galaxy, which is actually known as NGC 628 or Messier 74, is highlighted by the photograph because it has dust lanes. The Phantom Galaxy, which some astronomers refer to as the “perfect spiral” because to how symmetrical it is, is scientifically intriguing due to the advanced black hole that is thought to be present in its centre.

One of them is Judy Schmidt, who has spent years creating beautiful images from raw space data.. We now have simply remarkable photos of two magnificent spiral galaxies thanks to her meticulous work.

Comparing NGC 628

NGC 628 is among the most spectacular galaxies in our sky. It is a spiral galaxy with what is referred to as a “grand design”: arms that are visible, well-formed, and largely un-blurred. The distance is only 32 million light-years.

After looking at the picture, we can definitely say James Web Telescope is worth the hype

Comparing NGC 7496

NGC 7496 is a spiral galaxy that is only 24 million light-years away and features spiral arms that extend from a distinct bar that crosses the galaxy’s nucleus.

By comparing the images, it can be shown that Webb still recognises the light gas, but with much more precision. The galactic nucleus appear as a brilliant, featureless glow in Hubble’s photos, but Webb sees right through them to reveal far more information about what is happening in the region where the galaxies are swirling around the supermassive black holes.

The GOP wants to turn this country into a patriarchal court system deciding womens financial, social, physical, emotional, educational and spiritual future and outcomes. Disgusting. Sick. Oppression. Suppression and depression of womens right to life.

And it seems that most white women are okay with that. The disaster is that they make up such a majority of voters that the rest of us non white women will suffer for their utter stupidity,

Those new images with Webb are simply spectacular. It is night and day when compared to Hubble. What a huge advancement in technology. So very exciting. Thank you for posting.

If someone would relax the non interference Edict, we might opt to take out all of the Russian nuclear facilities so that Russia can’t build any more nuclear weapons. We could also take out their remaining nuclear weapons. We could follow that up by taking out the rail yards and power stations of all cities surrounding Moscow.

The result would be that Russia would have to evacuate that whole area, because if Russia doesn’t the humans there will have to resort to cannibalism within a few weeks in order to survive. Nothing will be able to get in or out. There will be no need to fight anyone, just wait for about a month and walk in and pick up the scraps.

Why are we pretending these humans have a say in their existence? Is this just an exercise to appease those that wish to ingratiate themselves to those on earth who will have important positions among our leaders?

Just how certain are you that humans understand the constant expansion of the Universe? You seem to be certain that they understand that the light from a galaxy that took 13.4 billion years to reach them is now 32 billion light-years away.

Do they truly understand that space since their measured observation of that particular light distance, has expanded, and the galaxy (or whatever remains of it). And since the space that light travels through expands and light still must move at the speed of light. Light has to lose energy in other ways than going slower. So it becomes redshifted instead: the wavelength becomes longer, and the light is thus redder.

Bottom line: It will be further away from them by the time they read this. Why are we concerned? Their bodies aren’t built to withstand Mach 5 speeds in aircraft built by them. Actually they don’t have the capability to build aircraft with the materials that withstand the heat created by those speeds in their atmosphere. We are being required to cloak when we need not. These primitives can’t catch us much less pose a threat to our minimum speed aircraft.

    The Edict stands.

    Did You Know?

Rats, mice, and other rodents communicate not just in the range of sound frequencies humans can hear (approximately 20-20,000 Hz), but in ultrasonic frequencies as high as 91,000 Hz.
