That’s Valdez Venita Demings, an American politician and retired law enforcement officer who serves as the United States Representative from Florida’s 10th congressional district. She served as Chief of the Orlando Police Department, the first woman to hold the position.
Others besides Ms. Demings who will prosecute the case against the president in the Senate are Schiff, the lead manager; Jerry Nadler of New York; Hakeem Jeffries of New York; Jason Crow of Colorado; Zoe Lofgren of California; and Sylvia Garcia of Texas.
