Barry, the reason the Inspector General(IG) and the DNI don’t obey the law that they have to report a Whistle Blower’s (WB) notice to Congress If the IG determines that the WB’s report is Credible and Urgent .
The law says the IG has 14 days to make his determination. And then he has to inform the DNI. The DNI has 7 days to inform the members of Congress(Gang of 8) of the information.
But like most things done by white men they usually are fucked up. This one is not different. Those laws were enacted without any penalties for violating them. Those dumb as shit whiteboys left it to the courts to come up with a penalty. Duh?
