In this passionate call to action, 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg explains why, in August 2018, she walked out of school and organized a strike to raise awareness of global warming, protesting outside the Swedish parliament and grabbing the world’s attention. “The climate crisis has already been solved.

She also recently spoke at the 2019 UN Climate Summit in New York City. It was a powerful speech. She called everyone out: How Dare You. And, of course, not everyone was happy about it. Here’s that speech:

Sep.23 — The 16-year-old environmental activist Greta Thunberg scolded heads of state at a United Nations summit on Monday, saying they’re robbing her generation of a future by focusing on money and not on fighting global warming.

The Turd in Chief mocked her. Michael Knowles, a guest on Laura Ingram’s Fox News show, The Story, called her mentally ill. It makes you wonder:

Robinson Meyer of Science Magazine opined why she makes adults uncomfortable Jezel Magazine ran a piece about the misogyny of her critics.

All I know is she’s kicking it up and I applaud her for it. She’s a shining example that one person can truly make an impact.

And congratulations to her for winning Amnesty International’s 2019 Ambassador of Conscience award.
