America has a fucked up judicial system because they have no way to police federal judges on the take. Judges who for the grift money they are give can issue judgements that affect the entire country. We all know about the SCOTUS grifters, Thomas and Alito, but this asshole bought and paid for federal judge Kacsmaryk, appointed by who else tRump, is another story entirely.
This is the Matthew Kacsmaryk fix. Kacsmaryk is the guy who sits in a one-judge division in Amarillo, Texas, who will do whatever anti-LGBTQ, anti-abortion, anti-immigrant plaintiffs ask him to do. The state of Texas goes back into his courthouse over and over again to get sweeping injunctions. The same thing happens with a handful of other Trump-appointed judges in Texas and Louisiana. But judge-shopping is also a problem in patent litigation: Patent trolls spent years going to the same judge in Texas because they knew they’d get a favorable ear. That obviously can’t be right.

Look at Kacsmaryk’s decision purporting to remove medication abortion from the shelves of every pharmacy and doctor’s office in all 50 states. That is just king-level arrogance. It is monarchic. It is czarist. It is transferring so much power away from Congress, from the executive, from the people, into the hands of this one guy in Amarillo.

The 6% commission, a standard in home purchase transactions, is no more.

In a sweeping move expected to dramatically reduce the cost of buying and selling a home, the National Association of Realtors announced Friday a settlement with groups of homesellers, agreeing to end landmark antitrust lawsuits by paying $418 million in damages and eliminating rules on commissions.

The NAR, which represents more than 1 million Realtors, also agreed to put in place a set of new rules. One prohibits agents’ compensation from being included on listings placed on local centralized listing portals known as multiple listing services, which critics say led brokers to push more expensive properties on customers. Another ends requirements that brokers subscribe to multiple listing services — many of which are owned by NAR subsidiaries — where homes are given a wide viewing in a local market. Another new rule will require buyers’ brokers to enter into written agreements with their buyers.

The agreement effectively will destroy the current homebuying and selling business model, in which sellers pay both their broker and a buyer’s broker, which critics say have driven housing prices artificially higher.

By some estimates, real estate commissions are expected to fall 25% to 50%, according to TD Cowen Insights. This will open up opportunities for alternative models of selling real estate that already exist but don’t have much market share, including flat-fee and discount brokerages.

Shoppers will have to plan to get their Easter shopping done before the day of because a slew of retailers will shut their doors at the end of the month.

    WHAT WILL BE CLOSED?

Three main shopping hubs, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s and HomeGoods, will all be closed on Easter Sunday, according to USA Today.

Target, Costco, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s and Macy’s will also be closed for the day.

Aldi also announced that they would be closing all of their stores across the US for one day this March.

The grocery chain closes its stores on three other public holidays including Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving.

Aldi stores are expected to be open during their normal hours on the Saturday and Monday before and after Easter Sunday.

    WHAT WILL BE OPEN?

There will be a handful of stores that will remain open on the holiday including Walmart, which will be open normal store hours.

IKEA and PetCo will also be open during regular operating hours.

Home Depot will be open from 8 am to 6 pm, according to the outlet.

Other stores have varying holiday hours and recommend checking with your local location for specific times.

Staples will also be open from noon to 5 pm at select stores while other locations will be closed.

Ace Hardware stores are independently owned and operated, so hours will vary by location.

While Nordstrom store hours will vary based on location.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to the stores closing on Easter Sunday to confirm.

Anyone saying they don’t care is BS. Of course they care. That’s why they’re so frustrated. The sad thing is, if they don’t vote, they’ll soon have plenty of reasons to care even more. And most definitely they will complain of the outcome. But then I always say, you don’t have a right to complain because you didn’t vote.
Stop bitching about how messed up our government is and be a part of changing it. It is a privilege that many don’t exercise and should. The stakes are too high.

    Did You Know

In 1990, Willie Nelson had nearly everything he owned confiscated and sold by the IRS to pay a mountain of back taxes and fines due to fund mismanagement by his accounting firm. One of his few possessions to escape confiscation was his iconic guitar, Trigger—all thanks to his daughter, who smuggled the guitar out of his home in Texas and hid it in Hawaii until the heat died down.

Surveys of Olympic medal winners find that Gold medalists are the happiest, followed by Bronze medalists, with Silver medalists being the least happy of the three. The theory is that those who win Silver are always left knowing they were so close to getting the Gold whereas Bronze winners tend to simply be happy to have won a medal at all.

    A Burner Doesn’t Guarantee Anonymity

If you’re buying a burner phone for privacy reasons that extend beyond simply using the number to send anonymous Signal messages or avoiding spam, be aware that no cell phone provides you with true anonymity.

It’s all about your “threat model”—what threats are you trying to protect your privacy from? Just think about the process of getting a burner phone from the store. Let’s say that you drive to a store, buy the burner phone with a credit card, drive home, and turn it on.

If you took your normal phone with you, your cellular carrier will know that you were at the store at the time the phone was purchased. License plate cameras on the route may have captured your license plate and recorded your movements. A camera in the store may have recorded you buying the phone. Your credit card company will have a record of you buying the phone. When you turn the phone on at home, the cellular carrier your phone uses will have a pretty good idea of where your home address is.

And if you carry your burner phone and normal phone at the same time and both are powered on, anyone looking at cellular phone records can get a pretty good idea that the same person owns those phones.

Yes, that’s a lot of ways that an adversary with serious resources could trace you. If you’re really trying to evade government authorities—well, good luck. You’ll need it..

China is funding drug cartels who are now dominating the illicit weed sales in the US. Chinese gangs from China control most of the illegal marijuana operations in the US by using illegal immigrants from China to protect and operate their marijuana farms. Most come from Fujian, a coastal province known for mafias, immigration and corruption. They had come to America and joined a wave of new players rushing into the nation’s billion-dollar marijuana boom: Chinese mobsters who roam from state to state, harvesting drugs and cash and overwhelming law enforcement with their resources and elusiveness.

From California to Maine, Chinese organized crime has come to dominate much of the nation’s illicit marijuana trade, an investigation by ProPublica and The Frontier has found. Along with the explosive growth of this criminal industry, the gangsters have unleashed lawlessness: violence, drug trafficking, money laundering, gambling, bribery, document fraud, bank fraud, environmental damage and theft of water and electricity.

Chinese organized crime “has taken over marijuana in Oklahoma and the United States,” said Donnie Anderson, the director of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, in an interview.

Among the victims are thousands of Chinese immigrants, many of them smuggled across the Mexican border to toil in often abusive conditions at farms ringed by fences, surveillance cameras and guards with guns and machetes. A grim offshoot of this indentured servitude: Traffickers force Chinese immigrant women into prostitution for the bosses of the agricultural workforce.

The mobsters operate in a loose but disciplined confederation overseen from New York by mafias rooted in southern China, according to state and federal officials. Known as “triads” because of an emblem used long ago by secret societies, these criminal groups wield power at home and throughout the diaspora and allegedly maintain an alliance with the Chinese state.

In 2018, the mafias set their sights on Oklahoma when the state’s voters approved a ballot measure that legalized the cultivation and sale of marijuana for medicinal purposes. The law did not limit the number of dispensaries or growing operations – known in the industry simply as “grows.” It requires marijuana businesses to have majority owners who have lived in the state for two years, and it bars shipping the product across state lines. But limited enforcement enabled out-of-state investors to recruit illegal “straw owners” and to traffic weed clandestinely across the country. And land was cheap. In this wide-open atmosphere, the industry grew at breakneck speed and, regulators say, is now second only to the oil and gas industry in the state.

Since Colorado became the first state to legalize marijuana for personal use in 2012, a patchwork of marijuana-related legislation has developed across the country. State authorities generally require licenses and put limits on cultivation, and federal law prohibits interstate sales. But steep taxes on legal products and gaps and differences in laws across states have created the conditions for a massive black market to thrive.

It is feasible to close off that area of the Atlantic Ocean to human traffic. The manipulation of their tectonic plates so that they push down other plates into the mantle below would work. The heat from the mantle could then melt the mantle. That would change the mantle into magma. Enough magma could transform the area into a Ring of Fire to rival the approximately 25 miles of the present Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean.

    • D]9 says:

“Feasible”but not advisable because many aliens live along the coastlines of Africa and Iberia. Some of us have existed here for thousands of years. We do not want to see an Atlantic Ring of Fire in this area. Any attempt would probably bring War to those proposing it. It is well established that we who have been here more than a thousand years have a right to protect our environment from the manipulation of other aliens.

Your TV knows a little too much about your binge-watching habits? Smart TVs are notorious for privacy invasion, from voice assistants listening in to tech that tracks every show you watch. Now, with Vizio in Walmart’s shopping cart, it’s a great time to evaluate what your TV knows.

    • Helga says:

There are three main ways that smart TVs—meaning a TV that’s connected to the internet—collect data and track activity:

Automatic Content Recognition (ACR): ACR technology is built into smart TVs, and, as the name implies, it detects what is playing on the TV. That doesn’t only include the smart TV interface, either. Essentially, anything that’s happening on the screen can be identified and recorded.
Data Collection for Targeted Advertising: It probably comes as no surprise that targeted advertising is at the forefront of smart TV tracking. Much of the data collected by ACR is sent to marketers, who then combine it with other data about you, such as web browsing and search history. This is all used to serve your ads better.
Microphones and Cameras: Some smart TVs have built-in microphones and, in rare cases, cameras as well. It goes without saying that a microphone or camera could be used maliciously to collect data about what’s happening around the TV.

      • Eddie says:

Depending on the year and model, there are two ways to disable Viewing Data on Vizio TVs.

Press the “Menu” button on your TV’s remote or open the Settings app.
        Select “System.”
        Select “Reset & Admin.”
        Highlight “Viewing Data.”
Press the right arrow to change the setting to “Off.”

The second method, primarily on newer TVs:
Press the “Menu” button on your TV’s remote.
        Select “System.”
        Select “Reset & Admin.”
        Highlight “Viewing Data.”
Press the right arrow to change the setting to “Off.”

    • Lee says:

Use a Secondary Streaming Device Instead

There are reasons beyond tracking why you shouldn’t use your smart TV’s built-in software. A secondary streaming device, such as a Roku, Amazon Fire TV, or Chromecast with Google TV, has several advantages over built-in software—even if that built-in software is Roku, Fire TV, or Google TV.

Generally speaking, most smart TVs ship with low-powered hardware that quickly becomes laggy and slow. A dedicated streaming device will often perform better, and if it does eventually become sluggish, you can upgrade the experience without buying an entire new TV.

Of course, tracking is still a concern with these devices, but there’s one important difference. As mentioned earlier, your TV’s tracking software likely can see anything that you do on the screen since it’s built into the TV itself. However, a secondary device will not be able to see anything outside of the HDMI input it occupies.

At the end of the day, using internet-connected services comes with trade-offs. It’s hard to banish all tracking completely. Minimizing the number of connections is a good place to start.

We have several planets that will be suitable for earthlings. All of them have an index of .85 or above. Only 9 of them actually rated a 1. But given that we may only bring up several million that should be more than sufficient.

No, we haven’t forgotten that a few will have special designation for the individuals who are bringing their selections up. Those planets were not included in the data.

    • B]2 says:

It should also be mentioned that the surface temperatures of all the planets scheduled for those special individuals’ selections are 20 degrees lower than the Earth, due to the complete absence of atmospheric pollution. Also all the planets selected that have a rating of .85 or above have stars which they orbit that are about 1.5 billion years younger than the Earth’s Sun.

    • F*/`~ says:

You have done an excellent job of finding and developing practical means of relocation to those planets. We have visited more than 150 of your candidates and were amazed at the natural, physical, atmospheric and geographical similarity between those planets and the planet Earth. Of course the 20% lower surface temperature gives them extraordinary good weather patterns. We can see how the earthlings will benefit from this as they select areas that meet their basic survival needs.

More emphasis should be placed upon getting the humans there with their brains intact. Or many may arrive with dementia if more research isn’t done on what happens to the human brain under prolonged sleep deprivation. Humans will discover that the loss of 8 hours of sleep on a regular basis will lead to some from of dementia.

We have discovered that specialized lymph channels within the human brain open up and drain harmful neurotoxins into the cerebral spinal fluid while they sleep. This brain process takes 6-8 hours of sleep for optimal brain function. Their lymphatic system shares similarities with their body’s lymphatic system. It drains toxic waste and proteins from their brains during their natural sleep cycles. Today most of our systems for maintaining human coma states are based upon 4 to 5 hours of wakening. We now know that that could be disastrous to the human brain.

The neurotoxin, beta-amyloid plaque is drained from the brain’s glymphatic system. 4 to 5 hour wakening processes prevents the human brain from getting the 8 hours of sleep it needs to enable their glymphatic system’s ability to clear beta-amyloid from their brains. That will lead to the accumulation of the substance in their brains. As beta-amyloid accumulates, sleep quality and memory function will be negatively affected.
Humans have been given this information so that they can assist us in solving this problem because this neurotoxin causes various cognitive and memory-related issues. But their scientific techniques are slow and primitive. We need to take the lead on this.
If the human glymphatic system becomes clogged and doesn’t function properly because the human doesn’t get its 8 hours of sleep, it can result in mood changes, compromised memory, and brain fog. And there are other factors that can contribute to this imbalance.
Allowing humans to see you when your image could be frightening to their state of mind could cause emotional trauma, stress, inadequate sleep, and digestive problems that could also cause their glymphatic system to malfunction.

A*/~ will be conducting a training forum on how to prevent this dementia from happening in the human brain. Several strategies can be employed to address the imbalance in the glymphatic system. These include nasya, a practice involving sniffing herbalized nasya oil into the sinuses, maintaining balanced blood sugar levels, and the use of herbs such as Bacopa (Bacopa monnieri) and Brahmi (Centella asiatica). Bacopa is a known brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) that supports healthy brain cells, stable mood, and normal memory function. Brahmi has been found to support healthy cerebral microcirculation, mood, sleep, and memory.
The problem will be to determine how to implement this while transporting them to their new planets.

“Several millio,” we were expecting at least a billion. We do have an interest here also. If the remaining population on earth can not provide us with the subsistence needs we require, we should be allowed to feed upon those that will be rescued. That would mean substantially more than “several million.”

      • B]4 says:

Most of you meat eaters require the 3.31 pounds of weight every human being has that does not belong to him because it does not have their DNA to digest those bodies sufficiently. This may be severally altered in the event of nuclear radiation.

We recognize that it is the thousands of billions of bacteria, fungi, viruses and symbiotic Protozoa in the human body that most of you actually feed upon. Since humans expel them through the urethra when they urinate, why not now begin to collect their piss and store it for the use in digesting the radiated bodies that will be left on Earth after their nuclear war?

Since there will be plenty of radiated humans left in various stages of death, DNA alteration and whatever, this would provide a means to digest those bodies. We see no need to allow you to feast upon our collection if you have not done the most to preserve your meals on Earth. This is especially true since you have, on more than one occasion, actively accelerated the natural inclination of humans to destroy themselves nuclearly.

        • M]4 says:

You are aware that most humans believe that their urine has disinfectant qualities. That false rumor about their urine’s antiseptic properties means they may drink their own urine to quench their thirst during a nuclear disaster when water will be at a premium. That will weaken their organisms and those “billions of bacteria, fungi, viruses and symbiotic Protozoa” will pollute their bodies beyond consumption for most of us.
We demand an option to continue to feed upon earthlings wherever they are eventually deposited.

      • Richard says:

I lived in Chicago in those days (and still do lol). I remember Marquette park filling up with white people and Nazi symbols and signs with some of the worst obscenities known to man. I was taking the bus down South Kedzie and I saw the park fill. I was curious, and wanted to actually see what was going on, but I was very fearful that my presence in the park would cause people to think that I was one of the racists that were filling the place. It’s also amazing to think that before I was 10 I could ride the bus freely around the city. Anyway, I just headed home.

I was also a student at mount greenwood elementary school in 1968, when they bussed eight African-American children in. The neighborhood went up for grabs. It was like we were in Little Rock or something. My mother, who had left Florida as a young adult, in large part because she couldn’t stand what was going on in the Jim Crow South, turned down requests from the “ladies” in the neighborhood to join them as they picketed them outside the school. (I remember very clearly seeing my Cub Scout dem mother in front of the school, pushing the stroller, with the sign “go back to Africa” in her free hand and six or seven eggs in the stroller next to her infant child.) As a result of my mother’s refusal, my family was harassed, people calling in the middle of the night, issuing threats, threatening my brothers and I to the degree that one or two days she kept us home from school.

And then, once again, in the 1970s, Marquette Park once again became a Center of racism, with the American Nazi party, setting up their headquarters on 71st St., a huge building with “N——- Beware!” Painted across the side. The leader of the group finally went to jail and came out and under a different name writes all kinds of weird New Age shit.

Characterize people by their actions, and you’ll never be fooled by their words. Let people do what they want to do, so you can see what they would rather do. That will answer all the questions you have. When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening. That’s where your power is.

That’s why she wasn’t there to get butchered by those Manson Family crazies. I helped her to have a career in the Cinema, but it was her talent that got her the Oscar nomination and the BAFTA and the Cannes Film Festival Award for the role in Lenny in 1074. Presently no one is saying if he is alive or dead.

Some humans have established that regular physical exercise support their brain’s lymphatic system. Their research has shown that engaging in moderate-intensity aerobic exercise, such as brisk walking or swimming, can enhance glymphatic clearance and promote the removal of neurotoxins from the brain.
Exercise is thought to increase heart rate, blood flow, and cerebrospinal fluid circulation, which in turn facilitates the brain’s waste clearance system.
Additionally, exercise has been found to improve cognitive function, mood, and overall brain health by promoting the release of endorphins and other neurochemicals that support neuronal growth and plasticity.
To maximize the benefits of exercise on the glymphatic system, humans recommend to incorporate at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise per week, spread across multiple days.

By combining regular physical activity with adequate sleep and other strategies mentioned earlier, humanss can further support the proper functioning of their brain’s lymphatic system, promoting cognitive health and well-being.

Of course, this poses a major problem to accomplish while transporting them to distanct planets. But since ensuring the proper functioning of their brain’s glymphatic system is essential for maintaining optimal cognitive health, we will have to explore how to accomplish this too.

Most of us live from 11,000 to 33,000 earth years. We have to because intergalactic trips are at least 4,000 earth years long at light speed. All of life is a dream sailing through space. All of death is a going home. Most of us will not live long enough to make it back to our homes.
I say, end this thing now. It has lived for millions, maybe billions of years. Why are afraid to end it? I am not.

Any step towards the entity by an alien will be met with the most severe punishment. Anyone aware of anyone even thinking of such, and it is not reported will be treated as if they were in on the plan.
It may eventually be killed by humans, then it will probably relocate somewhere else in the Milky Way or some other galaxy. But until then, no alien will make a hostile move towards it.

    • T[3 says:

He wasn’t saved by Aliens. His espionage group got him out through Latvia. That escape route has since been discovered by Russian Intelligence along with the knowledge that he entered Russia through Estonia, Both countries along with Lithuania where he still has his Baltic headquarters are now on Putin’s hit list.

  21. C]4 says:

The rumor that the entity is plotting a global war to reward the native Americans who befriended him back in 2121 is just that a rumor. Our facts show conclusively that during that time he was warning them that a new race would come to dominate and exterminate them if they did not stop fighting among themselves and unite as a people. They didn’t, so he abandoned them and left for the Arctics.

    • M]8 says:

If it is not a threat to World peace, then why has China and Saudi’s Arabia united to post a $1 billion dollar price on his head? China does not buy that BS that it is an immortal. They want to capture it and behead it, and dice up the rest of his body. They intend to keep its head and send its hands to the US State Department as a warning to keep hands off China’s affairs. The trunk will be given to Saudi Arabia. No, we don’t know why the Saudis want its trunk,

      • J]3 says:

China is upset because he has proposed to Biden that it be allowed to go to the Philippines to head off China’s take over of the South China Sea. Saudi Arabia is still fuming over its betrayal of their pact in 1948. They were not able to stop it from amassing more than 15 million operates throughout the world. But recently they have whittled that down to less than 5 million worldwide. The Saudi’s fund their murder worldwide while continuing to pay the tribute demanding of them by its organization, which continues to increase annually.

        • B[3 says:

The list of countries who have bounties on its head is long. The alliance BRICS(Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates) was formed after the entity issued a manifest declaring war against countries that abused their females and denied them equal rights. BRICS has since morphed into a sort of NATO alliance. Riyadh has filed an application for membership in the BRICS. It is our understanding that the entity is fine with that because he wants to nuke Saudi’s Arabia’s and Russia’s oil fields.

          • M[7 says:

Wasn’t Japan one of those countries willing to put up money to see the demise of the entity? Now, they are seeking his organization’s help in thwarting China’s take over of islands they have contended were theirs for decades. Japan fears that once China has taken those islands from them they will dominate the East China Sea.

I too see the entity as a threat to world peace. His organization has been depleted by COVID and organized assassinations of his personnel. Key members have been targeted and eliminated.

            • P]3 says:

We disagree. Having watched their organization grow and the entity move up to take the leadership of it, I see many more great things they have done for world peace than any ill formed belief of starting wars. We of the interstellar community have often been subject to small wars to maintain the overall peace of the Known Universe. Therefore, we can hardly condemn its belief that war on occasion is necessary to maintain the overall peace on Earth.
If I may correct another bit of misinformation you seem to harbor, you should be aware that more that 9/10 of the entity’s lost reserves were due to retirement during the COVID crisis and after. Less that one tenth occurred as a result of assassination. Many of that one tenth have died of old age and actual combat injuries. They are, like us, in a Kill or be Killed industry.

Fuck this entity shit. The buck stops with Biden. And at present, the president’s approach toward the defense of Guam is very well suited to the interests of Xi Jinping.

House China Select Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) has pushed the Pentagon on this Guam-specific concern, but its response has been inadequate in both speed and scale. The best U.S. military commanders, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Charles Brown, Marine Corps Commandant Eric Smith, and Pacific Fleet Commander Samuel Paparo, recognize the problem. They want to disperse forces and better defend those dispersed forces so that they can less easily be targeted. But Guam’s role as a critical sustainment and logistics linchpin would be unavoidable in any war. Indo-Pacific Command’s Adm. John Aquilino must thus push harder in public to get the Guam defense capabilities he needs. It’s not just about Guam. Aquilino also needs a lot more long-range anti-ship and land-attack missiles. A lot more.

Intermediate-range missiles possessed or pursued by North Korea are the weapons systems primarily aimed at attacking the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam.

The entity’s battle with Apple seems to be a victory for it. He has long refused to buy an Apple iPhone because he has claimed that Apple has an unfair advantage on the development of technology in that field because of it huge monopoly. He promised that if a democrat won the POTUS spot he would spend the entire 4 years going after Apple’s monopoly. Apple may join those putting bounties on its head since the DOJ will be prosecuting them for making iPhones uncompetitive. Perhaps, they should have given him a few dozen each year. Either way it is going to be very costly for Apple.

The lawsuit caps years of regulatory scrutiny of Apple’s wildly popular devices and services, which have fueled its growth into a nearly $3 trillion public company.
