tRump interfering in Roger Stone’s sentencing, I would only say that the power of justice lies in it’s impartiality.
When powerful people and their friends are exempt from the rules the rest of us live by, it’s a very slippery slope which usually ends in serious, unpleasant life changing consequences, like authoritarian rule .
How can it but? The exempted are emboldened by the exemption, so they continue to expand the envelope of “acceptable exemptions” until they have no restraints on them at all…This is the tactic all the great authoritarians/dictators have used through out history.

I cannot believe the justification for criminal behavior and the rightful justice imposed. There is an alternate universe here, but the rise by these enablers of an authoritarian dictator is very real. These people would obviously justify criminal behavior on behalf of lies by a pathological liar and extreme narcissist. This is how Hitler consolidated his power and some of these folks are too ignorant to see it coming.
What is the difference between the MAGA-GOP justice system and that in the most corrupt dictatorships in the world? NONE.
That is exactly how the justice systems function in Congo, Afghanistan, Burundi, Togo, Gabon, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, elsewhere: Kazakhstan, Myamnar, Cambodia, Turkey, North Korea … I’m sure one can add many more.

The culinary union’s problem with Medicare for all is the union leaders who are as crooked as they come would lose out in millions in kickbacks from doctors and hospitals for having the WORST medical insurance program on Earth. ALMOST as bad as the Convention Union’s healthcare.
With Medicare for ALL no more insurance and doctor kickbacks. THAT is their real problem with it.
Burt, Not only that, the leadership could care less how their members will be with regards to their health insurance needs if for some reason they leave their employment for a non-union job.

Eventually the leaders of the union start identifying with management to the detriment of the members. If that were not the case Bernie would every vote in that union, which he still may.
The bigger problem is that many business, and governments hold healthcare costs as valuable negotiation strategy to deny workers any raises, or raises so small the massive increases in healthcare costs makes you have a net loss in income.
If we didn’t have to negotiate for healthcare costs— we could win higher wages or other benefits.

The FACT is, what this union has managed to negotiate for its members could go away or be diminished in a heartbeat if future negotiations go south, or if/when members decide to change jobs.

Each of the candidates have expressed an interest in the Black vote, including Trump, Joe Biden (supported by Obama), Buttigieg, and now Bloomberg (also supported by Obama).
You know why, because they know neither of them can win without the Black vote, but the Black economical problems, in this country, have not changed since the riots in the 1960’s. and each has approached it in different ways including Reparations.
WELL,………… When are these politicians going to realize that…
Unemployment rates for Blacks 18-24 is 19.55%, Whites 9.05%.

A decent and affordable education made available to everyone is a lifetime solution.
A decent and affordable education should be available to anyone who is qualified and/or interested But no one is talking our language,
BUT…… These same politicians should follow up with the gradual elimination of awarding No-Bid Contracts to companies who “consistently and/or purposely” neglect to hire minorities in proportion to the area(s), where the awarded contract is being performed,
[AKA: Institutionalized Discrimination], (ie In city projects, county projects, state projects, municipalities, & federal projects) which is a common practice daily.
Eliminating this practice would be a great second step towards reducing and/or eliminating income inequality in America.
