One usually sees things through the blinders of their own perceived needs and environmental influences. Sometimes what is presented to the person is actually what should be accepted regardless of what has happened to them before.
Dialogue is the only way to reach or breach, if you will, the misunderstanding of what a person wants, expects, or is being offered.
I agree with the statement about people seeing things through their own blinders.
If we create our own reality, we project our own interpretation to create what we see, so really one’s capability begins with their own “tunnel vision.”

Actually, corruption still runs the town. The major difference is that occasionally an opportunity to lessen it a bit arrives, like with its District attorney, Chesa Boudin. All the corrupt factions have joined together to take him down. They want to run him out of town. Some have aligned with the SFPD who are basically just thugs with badges to frame him when he has been recalled and send him to prison with his dad.
The thugs with badges have spent Mr. Boudin’s entire time either ignoring crime or encouraging it to make it appear that Mr. Boudin is “soft on crime.” To the major players of Corruption in SF, it is imperative that they take down the man who has made racism, misogyny, unlawful or illegal treatment of suspects, and crimes committed by the SFPD a point of contention with the SFDA’s office. They need to keep their enforcers of their power happy, and the SFPD is very unhappy with Boudin’s attack upon the corruption within their ranks.
The head of the SFPD union and its controlling body are as corrupt as a group can get without being a outright gangster enterprise. “Pay to play” in SF is not only their creed, it is their gospel. Any major criminal organization wanting to gain a foothold in SF has to pay homage to that gospel.

No, we wouldn’t agree that “the end justifies the means,” but it is a given that emotional societies need a religion to survive the challenges of avarice, the lust for power, sexism, and racism. I suppose it is the exception proving the rule.

The issue should be about Larry Ellison and a few other billionaires willing to assist aliens through Musk to aide aliens in harvesting humans on earth.
Interesting comment from you – and making this the issue. Some of you have been human harvesting since the beginning of time. Why are you turning on your brethren now? Why are Ellison, et al. the issue? ABs are okay when they do it -but HBs should be ostracized – when they do? I don’t get it.
