YouTube is the latest to BAN tRumpus from sharing his psychopathic destructive rhetoric, joining Facebook with an indefinite ban, and Twitter with a permanent ban, among other media sites. Even Parler, the right wing answer to Facebook, has been shut down by Amazon.
Today, we learn if Congress cancels his presidency with the vote on his second impeachment, for incitement and insurrection. Unlike the first impeachment trial, Turtle isn’t trying to defend him and reports are he’s happy to oust tRumpus. Several in the GOP have publicly stated they will vote for the impeachment. The GOP is imploding. Yeehaw!

Hi Clarise. Welcome. As to the paperweight comment I made in my last post, I’ll try to clarify. Some of the story I was told I don’t recall exactly (although some here could fill in the blanks to be sure), but the gist of it is that Earth is HB’s second home. I don’t recall the details on why we left that home (maybe it was destroyed?), but at some point humans were taken aboard a ship, and kept within a, for lack of a better word, glass paperweight to keep them alive (maybe we were only ever first in a paperweight), an entertainment toy, so to speak. But someone onboard who did not own the paperweight carelessly dropped the globe and it broke open. Knowing the trouble they would be in if the HBs perished, when the ship flew over a planet that appeared to most closely resemble our original home, the surviving HBs were dropped on that planet. That place is what we know as Earth.
It was a very, very long time ago that I heard the tale (and as I was in an amorous position with the teller, I admit I was distracted during the time of the telling). However, I have heard it mentioned more than once, and I’m certain others here have also heard the tale. Anyone else reading care to elaborate on what form of the tale they heard?
Some may see the parallel here in a story told by another, where a perhaps a decade ago, a God imprisoned other beings in a metal and diamond orb on a necklace.
