  1. Paul says:

It’s 1957 and Bobby goes to pick up his date, Peggy Sue.

Peggy Sue’s father answers the door and invites him in.

He asks Bobby what they’re planning to do on the date.

Bobby politely responds that they’ll probably just go to the malt shop or to a drive-in movie.

Peggy Sue’s father suggests, “Why don’t you kids go out and screw? I hear all of the kids are doing it.”

Bobby is shocked. “Excuse me, sir?”
    JOKE:
“Oh yes, Peggy Sue really likes to screw. She’ll screw all night if we let her.”

Peggy Sue comes downstairs and announces that she’s ready to go.

About 20 minutes later, a thoroughly disheveled Peggy Sue rushes back into the house, slams the door behind her, and screams at her father, “Dad! The Twist! It’s called the Twist!”

You may not release the Titanoboas back on the planet earth. When you captured and bred them you did so with the expressed idea that you would use them on your planet as natural predators of the gpacots. It is our understanding that they have performed better than expected. Returning them to their “natural habit” on earth would be disastrous as nothing on the planet would survive them. Correction of your elliptical time lines would seem to be in order.

  3. Helen says:

    Did You Know
In ancient Greece, women entertained themselves with the olisbos (meaning “to insert”).
It was an artificial phallus measuring around 15 centimeters. There were different types, but the least expensive was the olisbokollix, a bread dough dildo resembling a breadstick:
It was also common to use olive oil as a lubricant.

  4. K]6 says:

We know that the 7*/ was involved in the deaths of the U/^ human rescue. Their crew have serrated teeth. The remains show bites by serrated teeth. The proximity of the vessel 7*/ to the U/^ was greater than any other ship by far. 7*/ consider humans a delicacy. All 217 were eaten. The greed, viciousness, and mendacity of the 7*/ is legendary. What will be done about this violation of U/^ sovereignty?

  5. K[9 says:

My earth friend Ray says that he has met a girl that is so beautiful that the slightest movement of any part of her body or single hair always arouses him. WTF is wrong with humans. This one is immortal and totally fucked up.

  6. K[9 says:

Oh, and he says that hollering her sensual body is like possessing an absolute power. Is it not indefensibly shameless for an immortal to behave this way? We have befriended him so that we could learn his secret of immortality. How is this creature immortal? What is his secret?

    • G]9 says:

You are no friend. I am his friend. He is not your ordinary earthling. He is an eternal young part of the Universe. On earth he can be a bit of a romantic. He once told me that he had been married 6 times. Each time he stayed with his spouse as she aged. He was true to her until she died. He says that although to him a wedding is a sacred matrimony and the origin of all human happiness, he will never do it again. His advice to humans getting married. “Do your best to make a happy marriage, but if you are bored and tired of it, get out quick.”

He also says of that mortal, he is addicted to her so he is too blind to see the real her. I hope he wakes in time to see the real me. Our MotherShip time checked his molecular structure. Amazingly he is older than recognized time. Since he cannot be timed dated by our equipment, he could be as old as the GODS Themselves. I am fascinated by his existence. But as a being with a personality, he doesn’t seem to have a logical presence. What purpose does that or he serve?

    • Craig says:

I think you mean holding her sensual body. I haven’t seen or held her body, but I can feel the heat.

    • A^/* says:

The hope would be that his existence would give you and others enough space for your imaginations.

  7. Basil says:

Not all crypto is illegal. But most of the crypto industry as it has evolved in the U.S. over the past decade is now clearly on the wrong side of the law.
The U.S. government seems to have decided to kill the crypto ecosystem.

Why it matters: For over a decade, crypto was allowed to be given the benefit of the doubt. But those days are over.

The big picture: Crypto has, on its face, never been entirely aboveboard. Indeed, the initial dream, of creating a digital currency that could and should replace the U.S. dollar, seemed to be illegal from day one.

The FBI explicitly said more than a decade ago that “it is a violation of federal law for individuals … to create private coin or currency systems to compete with the official coinage and currency of the United States.”
Yes, but: Bitcoin users and companies largely escaped prosecution unless they used their crypto in furtherance of other crimes, like extortion or theft or money laundering.

Between the lines: A lot of rich and powerful people were convinced that blockchain technology would prove to be just as revolutionary as the internet, and that it would be ludicrous for crypto to be illegal in the country that’s home to Silicon Valley and most technological breakthroughs of recent decades.

Authorities held back on a broad crypto crackdown as the industry developed. Coinbase was allowed to go public, crypto bank Silvergate was regulated by the Federal Reserve, and Congress perennially mulled bills that would regulate the industry and give it (or at least certain companies) the government’s formal stamp of approval.
Be smart: Other companies, from Uber to Citigroup, have also benefited from being allowed to remain in operation pending a change in the law. As SEC chair Gary Gensler puts it, crypto companies made a similar “calculated economic decision.”

“Ask for forgiveness rather than permission” is a very common strategy in industries where first-mover advantage can be worth billions.
What happened: The implosion of FTX obliterated any hope that Congress would pass legislation that would retroactively legitimize the crypto industry.

Once that was clear, an SEC crackdown on crypto scofflaws was only a matter of time.
What they’re saying: “The overriding goal of policymakers should be to keep crypto systemically irrelevant,” wrote business professors Stephen Cecchetti and Kim Schoenholtz after FTX collapsed.

“Rather than creating a new legal and regulatory framework that legitimizes crypto, we should simply let it burn.”
The bottom line: The crypto industry is burning down, and the SEC is pouring gasoline on the fire. Congress seems to be perfectly happy to stand alongside crypto skeptics and watch the fire burn.

  8. Robert says:

Once dismissed as a fringe theory, the idea that corporate thirst for profits drives up inflation, aka “greedflation,” is now being taken more seriously by economists, policymakers and the business press, Emily writes.

Why it matters: Though inflation is starting to come down, it still remains well above the Fed’s target level of 2%, and understanding what’s causing inflation is key to combatting it — now and the next time.
The idea that profits drove our current bout of inflation surfaced in the last few years among progressive economists and lawmakers but was waved away by more mainstream types as a “conspiracy theory.” That changed earlier this year.

Simply Put: – There are NO real shortages in the market. Whatever product the corps tell you are in short supply from gas to milk is a lie. Those are manufactured shortages to gouge you for more money. Those gouges drive up the cost of everything and gives us runaway inflation, or “greed flatiron.”

    • Uma says:

GOP, those who put their own profits and riches ahead of their country. They would carry out acts that hurt their country and their countrymen if they benefitted.

They would destroy the economy, the businesses of thousands, have millions unemployed if it meant they could stay in power. Hell, they are doing all of that right now.

  10. I[4 says:

So you have refused my association because I delight in killing humans. Just because I don’t eat them shouldn’t logically deprive me of my enjoyment or your association because of it. Humans for the most part are despicable. What does it matter that I remove a few when the mood dawns upon me?

    • I^/ says:

We have lived as octopi for thousands of years among humans and other species on earth. The discovery that you have been morphing into a human or other species specifically to kill them is not acceptable. Hence you were expelled and your ability to morph removed. You will remain a human and your lifespan will be as theirs. Use your skills to kill them or live among them for as long as a healthy human can. Yes, that means you are now vulnerable to the same ailments they are. You have lived 904 years among us. We will miss you.

  11. Basil says:

What are 50 things casinos don’t want you to know?

It all boils down to one thing – the only way to “win” at a casino is to be ahead, leave, and never go back.

No matter what anyone tells you, the truth is that you cannot beat the odds if you continue to play. If I had a dollar for every gambler who insists they’re somehow ahead of the casino I’d have enough money to cover my lifetime gambling losses.

If you want to gamble and have some fun, great. Enjoy yourself. If you win a couple bucks, great. It can be very entertaining.

But you’ll never, ever beat the math of table games.

  12. C]3 says:

You are wrong to blame us for the white skinned creatures of earth. The emergence of white skin in early humans who migrated to northern Europe can be attributed to the reduced sunlight in that region. White skin has a greater capacity to absorb vitamin D compared to dark skin, thus facilitating its production despite the limited sunlight.

And yes, we will admit that some of the problem is because rather than kill the white skinned mutants they were pushed into the colder undesirable areas of the planet.
