russian derailment?

is it possible?

That’s the latest according to Ukranian President Zelensky. Kiev is still standing this morning.

Zelensky is digging in, and asked his people yesterday to arm up. He told Biden, “The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.” Biden finally kicked in a measly $350M for the fight.

Stefan Simanowitz on Twitter: “”There’s a lot of fake news online that I called on our army to lay down arms, & that there’s evacuation. I’m here. We will defend our state” President Zelensky@AP reports, when asked to evacuate Kyiv by the US he replied: “I need ammunition, not a ride”pic.twitter.com/8GbtLhOc98 / Twitter”

(I did not know he was a comedian prior to being a President.)

He’s very impressive. He feels like the global leadership we need right now. I only just saw this historic video below this morning. It’s quite remarkable. Everything about this whole event is remarkable. From the intelligence sharing, the tech disabling, financial crippling, and social medial involvement, this war event is a global event. And, I praise Zelensky for attempting to something different. Appealing to humanity. I used the word historic above; I agree with the poster that this is a moment for history.

Fedorov pleaded w Elon musk for starlink access. And EM turned it on! He said he’s sending more terminals. War is a little different when you add money and tech. Did Putin foresee this?

    • Michelle says:

And Fedorov isn’t stopping there. His recent tweet from a few hours ago: “We are constantly working on development of aggressor’s isolation! I’ve contacted the CEO of Rakuten, and PayPal on blocking their services in russia. Youth and thinking russians, you better wake up!”At 31 years old, it takes someone savvy, growing up with tech, to think out of the box. #GoFederov
Such respect for President Zelensky and his firm “boots on the ground” approach, displaying true leadership by fighting side by side with the Ukrainian people. Considering the Ukrainian’s army is so much smaller than Russia’s, this could be the modern day David and Goliath.
With respect to Miss Ukraine Anastasiia Lenna, the word “Badass” comes to mind.
Sending the Ukrainian people so much courage and strength.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar, I don’t know them,” Romney said during an appearance on CNN. “I’m reminded of the old line from the Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid movie where one character says, ‘Morons, I have morons on my team.'”

We are watching to see just how that additional weaponry will be delivered to the soldiers who need them in the Ukraine. The logistics of the operation suggest that any country attempting to deliver military aid to the Ukraine will have to be willing to fight through Russian barricades to get the aid to the Ukraine soldiers.

Putin is aware of this, hence his nuclear threat. He hopes that the West will be too afraid of starting a nuclear war to risk confrontation with Russian troops. Some of the oligarchs are beginning to consider eliminating Putin to avoid a nuclear war. But first they must believe that the West is willing to risk a nuclear war to stop Putin.

So far the gutless Biden has not given them the fear of death they need to put the possibility of losing their lives over the loss of profit. Germany originally put the need for energy from Russia above putting severe monetary pressure upon Putin’s personal billions and Russia’s oligarch’s money.

To be fair Biden is aware of the agreement between China and Putin to beset the US on two fronts. China is at present making overtures toward provoking Taiwan to justify an incursion into Taiwan space with the ultimate goal to do to it what Putin is attempting in the Ukraine.

If Biden follows the path of the gutless Neville Chamberlain, he too will sacrifice the sovereignty of the Ukraine for the expediency of “peace.” If however, Biden calls Putin’s bluff, the Russian generals will unite with the other oligarchs to murder Putin and make peace with the West before they will initiate a nuclear war. The rich can’t enjoy the benefits of their money if they are radioactive.

Alas, the conflict like most issues involving humans are predicated upon who gets to profit from an event.

    • Wayne says:

Russia has never had a problem arming our enemies to fight us, but when we attempt to arm theirs, Putin’s nuclear threat wants to make that a bridge too far.

Yeah all the mice agree a bell should be put on the cat’s neck.
      Who will do it?

  4. Amy says:

Most people don’t seem to understand how nuclear arms work. Russia has enough nuclear warheads to kill Earth 3x over at least. The US has enough nukes to do the same. It doesn’t matter if the US goes on nuclear high alert or NATO does – either group can already exterminate humanity. Saying “We have all 3,000 of our nukes ready to fire” …. “Oh yeah? We have 12,000 nukes ready to fire!” … when it only takes about 1,000 nukes to kill every human on earth, it’s irrelevant.

  5. Djamila says:

Has it occurred to anyone that here you have an under equipped Ukrainian army putting of a valiant fight against a vastly superiorly armed foe while the Iraqis who were had a vastly superiorly equipped military folded in less than a week against a whole fully under equipped army of vagabonds? Go figure.

My answer is that men who spend their lives terrorizing, enslaving, and pimping their women folk are too cowardly to face any force that has any means of resistance. Muslims who use a god to justify their pedophilia and enslavement of the female population, never seem to have the balls to put up the type of resistance the Ukraine has done.

  6. Harold says:

Will he or won’t he be willing to take out the whole world if he can’t have his way? He is at least 64 and a diminutive little man who feels he is inferior. But I don’t think he is crazy enough to start a nuclear war.

    • Amy says:

You are naively ignoring the fact that history is filled with suicidal dictators who committed their empires / regimes to self-destructive wars that lead their nation and kingdoms to utter ruin. They care not one iota for their people. They only care about how they are seen, that they are feared.

Putin is no different, his ego is likely not above causing a nuclear holocaust of the human race, these people are madmen “If the world doesn’t respect me, I will burn it to ground” – is a common mentality of dictators. The only difference today vs history, is they can now actually do it thanks to nukes.

The hope is he has some brave enough generals or commanders willing to murder him before he does it (just like Stalin’s military that tried to kill him before he could throw Russia into nuclear annihilation vs the US. They were discovered and killed, fortunately members of the kremlin were able to poison him instead and kill him, though his stated cause of death is “natural causes”.)

      • Robert says:

Amy, I agree with you for the most part. Except, I don’t think there will be a need to be “brave.” Those generals work for the money like everyone else in that Russian mob that rules Russia. If it appears that the “boss” of that mob will seriously harm their ability to make money, then it will not be personal just business to eliminate Putin.

      • Taisiya says:

Amy Putin is at least 69.

  7. WG says:

Russia has so many US republican politicians in its pockets, it’s crazy.

The US needs to find its spine and convict these traitors or it will fall into the same political system Russia and China has, that is, dictatorships.

Trump would be a great start and the DOJ should not expect an AG in NY to do it.

    • Lewis says:

Interesting that the WORLD has shunned Putin and Russia, and ONLY the Republicans, and that trump fellow support Putin and Russia. Interesting how that worked out huh?

Faith is the belief in something without proof it exists. For example I have the utmost Fatih in your intelligence.

I saw a lot more proof of Santa’s existence many years ago than I’ve ever seen of the existence of the imaginary sky bully.

Is there anyone at FOX News that isn’t a horror of a human being? And what does that say about the viewers, who hang on their every word?

  11. Joyce says:

If you haven’t voted in the past many elections, for whatever reason, you are the silent majority. Don’t let soulless, vapid, ghastly, entities, take your voice. Of course, if you’re watching Fox News, you must no longer be silent. Putin has invaded Ukraine; time to scream.

    • JC says:

The silent majority needs to rise up and vote. Get these ridiculous pretend Americans out of there. Please…..you are the 40% of America that isn’t represented by anyone. You represent what is good and true about America, and you will most likely believe America is good and true. Please wake up…..please. If that means you’re “woke”, God bless you.

  13. Helena says:

Putin thought Trump had divided America and NATO enough that his plan to annex all of Ukraine would work.

Biden united NATO, then the Biden’s administration brilliant plan to de-classify US intelligence reports, undermining Putin’s misinformation strategy showing Ukraine was the aggressor and Putin would be the savior in the assault. The free world is now against Putin except for Trump and a few of the GOP praising him. VOTE BLUE!
