USA under Bush started a war in Iraq for no reason other than that George Bush Junior was angry because Sadam insulted George Bush Senior when he laughed at him for lossing the election to Bill Clinton. Saddam’s exact words were “your people rejected you”. Bush Junior decided that he was going to remove Sadam by any means necessary. He then lied that Iraq was involved in 9/11 so had to be invaded to remove Sadam. All USA deaths in Iraq were caused by George Bush Junior’s need for family retribution. ISIS was formed because of George Bush Junior’s need to revenge Saddam’s insult. Everything that has transpired right now in Iraq is a direct result of that. There was zero need to have USA soldiers in Iraq. Any claim that they are protecting USA lives is a lie as big as claiming that Iraq was involved in 9/11.

So we invaded this country looking for WMD that didn’t exist, because Iraq was in league with Bin Laden, who wasn’t there. We over threw the government in a war that killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and cost over 2 trillion dollars. So now we can going to punish them with sanctions.

Trump had called the Iraqi PM to ask him to mediate with Iran. When Soleimani arrived in Bagdad carrying the response to a Saudi initiative to defuse tension he was murdered and with him highranking military commanders engaged in fighting IS/Alkaida from Iraq and Lebanon galvanizing resistance organisations in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. Powerfull Iraqi clerical al-Sadr has already reactivated his Mahdi army
Dictators like tRump because he is an easily manipulated tool that can be activated with a little under-the-table cash or shallow flattery.
The only thing Trump is doing is making another mess for Dems to have to clean up. Obama enacted policies that started to clean up the mess Bush and company made. Trump is still riding that successful wave started by Obama. Trump’s policies (or lack thereof) will begin to take effect around the time of the election. We will lose a lot of American assets (lives and capital) in the meantime. Trump is a clear & present danger — to US!!
Trump is attempting to create a distraction from his impeachment and Senate trial. An age old trick to rally the nation by supporting out troops for a potentially war crime level war. Sending in young men and women and don’t forget fathers and mothers now included in the forces.
So basically, in the supposed greatest democracy on Earth, ONE man and only ONE man can basically send the planet spinning into a war….just because of his inferiority complex. And no one, not the people. Not Congress, not his generals, can stop him
Well boys….maybe it’s time to revisit the powers of the president (if we don’t all die before that)
tRump’s administration and his supporters are basically little storm trooper wannabees gone wild. Racists with badges and guns.
And the disasters continue… This morning a 5.8 earthquake hit Puerto Rico.
Think about this: tRump who has avoided the military draft FIVE times said “Americans who dont want to fight for our country can leave.” He’s garbage. This country is broken.
The disaster in the big office has totally gone rogue. Sanders summed it up best:

Sanders called the killing of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani a “dangerous escalation” and a step toward another “disastrous war” in the Mideast.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) also weighed in on the conflict Saturday, calling Trump “reckless” and blaming him for fueling increased tensions that started with his abandonment of the Iranian nuclear deal in 2018.

Former national security adviser John Bolton’s surprise announcement Monday that he is willing to testify in the Senate’s impeachment trial significantly raises the already massive stakes of the pending votes in the chamber as to how the trial of President Donald Trump will be conducted. And it puts even more pressure on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as he seeks to keep his 52 GOP colleagues in line as both sides prepare for the historic proceeding.
Anonymous, if Pelosi and the rest of the Dems in the House are thinking logically, they would not send the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate until Moscow Mitch agrees to call witnesses. She should remind him what he did with the Supreme court nominee.
tRump is attempting to start a war Iran to aid Moscow Mitch in saying that a quick acquittal in the Senate is necessary because we are at war with Iran.
Netanyahu is in league with tRump on this. He will be able to put aside his criminal trial for the same reasons. Netanyahu is willing to nuke Iran so he can become the big hero in Israel for taking out Iran.
It will begin a nuclear arms race across the Middle East.
Almost can’t read these comments anymore. It’s just too depressing.
Testing
The Ukrainian passenger jet that crashed shortly after taking off from Tehran was shot down by Iran Intelligence. Iran is keeping the blackboxes until they can be altered because they contain conversations between Iran security and the Ukraine pilots with Iran demanding that the aircraft return immediately to Tehran’s airport.
They refused believing the Iranians wouldn’t shoot down a passenger plane with 82 Iranians and 63 Canadians aboard. They were wrong.
Iran suspected that there were two escaping spies aboard. One from their secret Nuclear division and one from their Strategic Defense division. They were attempting to return to the US and Israel via the Ukraine.

Word on the street has it that Soleimani was traveling with an Iraqi senior general on their way to a meeting with the Saudis to begin peace talks.
That was the last thing the US wanted, are you kidding me! Detente between the big boys! Why, there would soon be no reason for the US to even be in the Middle East. Heavens! What liberal nonsense is that?!
